Ghughuti Baasa

We had a lovely stay at Ghughuti Baasa in Dehradun! The place is tucked away in such a peaceful spot with amazing views and a nice open garden — perfect for a quiet getaway. The homemade food was absolutely delicious (we looked forward to every meal!), and Sailesh ji, our host, was just wonderful. He made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and was super accommodating, especially since we had our baby with us. Really appreciated all the little ways he helped out. All in all, it was a beautiful experience — great vibes, great food, and the kindest host. Can’t recommend Ghughuti Baasa enough!

Our stay at Ghughuti Baasa was truly heartwarming. Nestled in the peaceful beauty of the hills, this resort offered a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and calmness. The architecture and interiors beautifully reflect the local charm, and every corner feels thoughtfully designed. The staff was extremely hospitable and made us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy, clean, and offered breathtaking views. We especially loved the traditional meals – fresh, flavorful, and soul-satisfying. If you’re looking for a serene escape in the lap of nature with a touch of Ghughuti Baasa is a must-visit. We’re already planning our next trip!

The homestay is exactly as it looks in the picture. I had a lovely stay over the Good Friday weekend with friends. The rooms size is big with equally big size bathroom and well equipped with everything. The house has stunning views of Mussoorie hills. Lovely place, highly recommend.

Excellent facility. Hygiene was excellent. Rooms bathrooms were absolutely clean. Nearby very good restaurants where you may also go for change.

Nestled amidst the lushgreen foot hills of Mussoorie range, Ghughuti Baasa has a serene surrounding. The view from the balcony is excellent. Best place to enjoy the nature. All places of interest are easily approachable from here. The hospitality of Mr. Gupta is j amazing. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished . Complimentary breakfast is sumptuous and so is any other meal if you demand. We had a memorable stay.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights during the long weekend. It is a really beautiful house, very spacious and lots of open area for kids to play. They have all the appliances one might require plus they also have a speaker to which we connected our phones and the kids had a gala time dancing. The balcony on the first floor has a sitting arrangement and we spent our after dinner time enjoying the weather. Since we were traveling as a family with kids, I had spoken to the owner Shailesh quite a few times before our travel regarding the property and its facilities and he kept all my requests in mind. Shailesh and his team made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We requested for lunch and dinner as well. The food was really nice and tasty and they also made it suitable for the kids. We will definitely visit again for a longer stay.

Nestled amidst the most serene , lush green surrounding Ghughuti Baasa is most ideal homestay in Doon Valle. The property has spacious, very well furnished bed rooms, comfortable sitting rooms, a modern kitchen and big balconies.It has ample parking space. The view from the rooms and balcony is awesome. Complimentary breakfast offered to us was sumptuous. We also enjoyed excellent dishes from their menu at the dinner. Mr Gupta is an excellent host who made our stay most memorable and enjoyable.

We had a beautiful time here - organized a family reunion in Feb 2024. Lovely location. The place is so beautiful and comfortable. They are so warm and accommodating, delicious cooking for breakfast. The view is just lovely from the rooms and patios. Thank you for everything!
