Visarama Cottage

Place needs repairs. Pictures must be very old. The approach road is really bad and tattered. Care taker is really nice and helps a lot. But the furniture and woodwork needs repairs.

I recently stayed at Visarama cottage for a long weekend and had a wonderful experience. The cottage itself was cozy and charming, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area was picturesque, with beautiful landscapes and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The host was very welcoming and responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the cottage was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and I can't wait to come back and stay again in the future.

There was a voltage problem during day and cook makes really bad food & on the top of it its 2km inside from the main road the way to the cottage was very rough and bumpy. Overall experience was very bad.

Place has great views. Two bedrooms at upper floor have great views. The bedroom in lower room doesnt have a good view. Shared living room and kitchen are at lower floor and are a bit congested. Caretaker is helpful and cooks nice parathas. We stayed here for 2 nights at 8k per night. Price could have been a bit on lower side. Overall decent experience.

Such a pleasure to open the curtains in the morning to see the amazing view and watch the sunset and valley view each evening from the deck. Surrounded by hills and a beautiful scenic view with a lot to see but I think the time we enjoyed most, was sitting with that view spread out in front of us, drinks in hand evening, enjoyed a lot...😍❤️👍🏻

I would call it a Home away from home. From the moment we made the booking, I felt everything was taken care of. The host has been kind in helping me with every step, from how to reach the property to what all places we should visit as a tourist. The cottage is away from the regular tourist bustle of Mussorie yet not too far away from all the tourist places. Which makes it a perfect place to stay. The cottage itself is a great way to relax, with spacious and clean rooms, calm surroundings conducive to pursue any focused activities like reading, writing, meditation etc. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, and I would suggest you go for a morning walk in the woods. With a high-speed wifi connection, one could easily attend to their work commitments. You should definitely try paneer tikka ( I personally loved it). Overall it was an amazing experience. If you are reading my review, I can vouch that you will have a wonderful time too.

Ultimate place for stay in the laps of mountains. Hilarious view of the valley ,very calm and peaceful place.

Enjoyed our stay. The views are really breathtaking from the property. Barbeque and bonfire along with music made the evening memorable
