Flamingo Cottage

We stayed at Flamingo cottage for two days and it was such an unexpectedly nice stay that we promised the owner, Mr. Omprakash that upon our next visit we are going to stay at the same place. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Cleanliness was top notch. All the facilities were there. The best part for us was the food. Mr. Omprakash made Aalo Paratha for us...and I can say with wholehearted honesty that no other Paratha comes even close to those parathas... The place is hardly 200 m from mall road at malli taal. It has a good lake view. In a nutshell, a perfect stay and even better food!

Our experience at Flamingo Cottage was good. Clean and comfortable rooms and washroom with all the facilities. Owner was very polite and with nice behaviour. Do visit if you are looking for a quiet stay. At walking distance from mall road.

There are so many pros and Cons about the Hotel: Starting with Pros: The rooms are very well maintained with Very good technology lighting installed all in the room. The washroom is very well maintained. Everything is present there. Very clean and all the amenities present. Room service and food are really Good Now about the cons: 1. There are soo many rules, you'll feel like entering a school hostel. 2. If you're late for checkout, the owner will ruin your whole day. Have zero tolerance level. 3. Can't make any noises. 4. They don't tell about glass jars, easily breakable if you put hot water into it. They will charge Rs 600. Over-all the stay was really good but during checkout, the owner ruined the whole stay for us. Will never book this cottage again. So please make sure, as bachelors don't book this room. This is good for family people.

You need to walk uphill to reach the cottage. Location is great. It is near naina devi mandir and naini lake(mallital). Might be challenging for old people to walk to the cottage. In my opinion it’s a good stay.

Had the best time at my recent home stay! The place was cozy and spotless, and the host was so friendly and helpful. The caretaker was also awesome, making sure we had everything we needed. Loved the laid-back vibes and the perfect terrace area. It was just what I needed for a chill getaway. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy escape!

Accommodation: - We stayed there from 11/4/24 to 13/4/24 (2 nights). - The rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Staff and Service: The presence of a caretaker on the property is reassuring. The owner also visited several times to the property. Food: - There’s a small kitchen available in the common veranda rooms. - The homely cooked food is available at the cottage with prior notice. - While the taste is good, the prices are slightly high compared to expectations. Overall Impression: Our stay at Flamingo Resort was somewhat average.

The view and the ambiance was very relaxing. The serene environment played a great role for detoxicating the mind. The soulful and kind owner made my stay very comfortable and gave me a sense of safety.
