A Serene Escape in the Hills – I recently had the pleasure of staying at Prashant Homestay in Nainital with my friends, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and peaceful surroundings made us feel right at home. The property is beautifully maintained and offers stunning views of the hills—perfect for anyone looking to unwind in nature. The rooms were clean, cozy, and equipped with all the essentials. What stood out most was the personal touch in everything—Prashant, who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It's an ideal place for travelers seeking a quiet, homely, and authentic stay in Nainital. I highly recommend it and you’ll leave with beautiful memories and a desire to return!

We were group of 19. Took the entire villa including kitchen. The place is overlooking nainital lake and it's beautiful to see during the day as well as night. The house has a long history. I have to explicitly mention the great service of Prashant. He did all the running around like a family member and took care of requests. He arranged all local sight seeing His communication was transparent from day 1. He was clear on what is there, what is not there, how much to walk, what options are there if there are challenges to walk etc. We had minor feedback and he was receptive to all of them. I would strongly recommend this place for small as well as large family groups

Excellent place to stay. We stayed with larger family group of 20 people all the requirements were take care and the owner Prashanth Tiwari was very cooperative and made sure there no short comings, since we had senior citizens also staying with us. I loved the location over looking the lake and sun rise point mini trek was worth the visit. The Sun set view from the room over looking the lake was beautiful I would recommend to book this place for family stay and would like to revisit once more.

I had a lovely lovely time here. The view and the vibe makes the place absolutely perfect for some quiet and reflective time. Prashant wasn’t even home and still he managed to be a gracious host, he allowed me to check in early and late to accommodate for the timing of my transportation, coordinated rides and help carrying my luggage and was over all super attentive to he helpful in every way possible. The room was super cozy and had everything I needed. I would love to stay again.

We 8, 3 male & 5 female, all 75+,stayed at Hotel Prasant. Nice experience in staying there. Rooms were good. Services were good. Location is very good. Food served was good. I wish to go there again. We stayed at first floor. Views from balcony were good.

Great place to stay in Nainital! The place is nice and away from the hustle and bustle of the city with nice views of the city and mountains. Prashant is super helpful and communicates everything very well. From the initial booking, we were sent detailed instructions about the place and city, and he is very responsive and always willing to help which was a game-changer. Would recommend

I had a great stay at this homestay. Prashant was kind enough to let us check in early and check out late. He also made sure we had clear directions to reach the place. The house is beautiful, and you get a full view of Nainital Lake from there. It’s also a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Review: I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The rooms were extremely basic and definitely not worth the price charged. Despite booking a premium room, there was no heater or AC included—heaters came at an additional cost. The biggest issue was the lack of transparency: the owner quoted one rate at check-in, but by the time we checked out, the price had inexplicably increased by over 100%. This felt like a scam. Overall, the stay was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were taken there by our local taxi driver who told the property was good , don't believe these guys as they have their own commission in that.
