Amoha Homestay Rishikesh

Listing out some pros and cons Cons 1. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes just to get entry in our flat. Although we do understand that it is not a proper hotel but still the waiting time was long. 1. The bathroom was not clean. We informed the person in charge immediately but did not get a proper response from him. 2. The quantity of the food supply was very less. And it takes a lot of time to get the new stock. Pros 1. The room and the bed was clean 2. The location of the entire property is good and near to ganga. 3. The common area is maintained well. 4. The QUALITY of the food served was good. Like home made food. 5. The photos that they share are the same as on the property.

Initially once the booking was made we had an inquiry about the kitchen and they said a proper kitchen will be provided and in case a helper is needed that would be provided. Once the booking was made and we arrived at the location the kitchen stove was not working it took him 25 minutes to have it started. A refrigerator is available but we can't have it connect to stock and it's of no use. In terms of entertainment there is not a Single TV available. We had to arrange for each and everything by asking the person to make it available. In terms of cleanliness we complain about it and the person available said this is the thing that is provided. Available person is asking to provide us with an e-mail address stating to provide us it's mandatory once we said no to him he is arguing with us.Once we are paying a good amount to have the facilities available what the point of giving it as we had to make it available. This is not the service that we were expecting!! After paying 8k for two rooms it's highly unacceptable the service we are receiving.

Great place to stay with family/friends. Nice and clean rooms, breathtaking view of Ganga River. Shivam is a great help. He makes sure that everyone is comfortable and enjoys the trip.

I recently stayed at the homestay and was thoroughly disappointed. The price was exorbitant for what was offered. The room lacked basic amenities and was cramped. There were restrictions everywhere – limited access to utilities, no Wi-Fi, and no proper ventilation. The bathrooms were outdated and unclean, and the overall maintenance was subpar. The advertised facilities were nowhere to be found, and it felt like a complete mismatch between what was promised and what was actually provided. It's disheartening to pay so much and receive so little in return. The lack of utilities, coupled with the high price, made the stay incredibly frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped homestay experience.

During my recent stay at the homestay, I encountered several inconveniences that made the experience far from enjoyable. The price charged for the accommodation was disproportionately high given the lack of essential facilities and the stringent limitations imposed. The room itself was cramped and devoid of the basic conveniences promised. There was a notable absence of utilities, including Wi-Fi, and the absence of proper ventilation made the atmosphere stifling. Moreover, the condition of the bathrooms was disappointing, exhibiting signs of neglect and inadequate maintenance. It's disheartening to pay a premium price and discover such a significant discrepancy between the advertised amenities and the actual provisions. The absence of fundamental utilities and the excessive pricing made the stay an exercise in frustration rather than a relaxing retreat. I would caution potential guests against expecting a comfortable or satisfactory experience at this homestay.

It was a great experience at Amoha homestay . The owner of the property is very generous and down to earth person. I would like to meet him again. Staff was kind n helpful. And home made meals served were best. Kids enjoyed a lot specially in pool. Rooms were very neat and clean and the view is just amazing. River Ganga ji and mountain View is adding bonus to property. My time here in Golden Healing was wonderful. I really feel at home. the food made with lots of love, the therapists super attentive and well trained. Madhav was not so much a friend, but a very kind and caring person. I highly recommend it. Thais Faleiros

Our stay at Amoha was a great experience. The homely space had the best view of River Ganga and the cozy living room was an added benefit to chill out with friends. Madhav Ji was very cooperative and welcoming and he made sure that all our needs were met instantly. The staff was also very friendly and dedicated. Overall experience was amazing and we are definitely coming back whenver we come to Rishikesh again♥️
