Hayat Homestay in Sarmoli, Munsiyari was truly memorable. Tucked away in this beautiful village with stunning views of the Panchachuli peaks, the homestay offers an authentic taste of Kumaoni hospitality that you simply can't find in regular hotels. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. The home-cooked meals were a highlight — fresh, flavorful, and made with local ingredients. Waking up to mountain views with a cup of hot tea was pure bliss. What stood out most was the warmth of the family running the homestay — they were incredibly welcoming, shared great tips on local treks and viewpoints, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. If you're visiting Munsiyari and want a genuine, peaceful experience away from the crowds, I'd highly recommend Hayat Homestay. A perfect base for exploring Sarmoli village and the surrounding trails!
