Very cost effective spacious stay near mall road. Clean leanin, big balcony, spacious rooms. 4 to 5 people can comfortably accomodate in this property. The host guides you around town, is approachable and is very friendly. Main thing is it is cheap for 4 people in this location. Also, they have a good view from the rooms and balcony.

The location was inconvenient and far from the city center, making it difficult to access local amenities. The rooms were unclean, and the bed sheets had stains. The bathroom was tiny and had a leaky faucet. The WiFi connection was not there. The hosts were unresponsive to our needs and didn't provide the services they promised. The overall experience was subpar, and I would not recommend this homestay to anyone. *Pros: None* *Cons:* - Bad location - Unclean rooms - No WiFi - Unresponsive hosts Would not stay here again.

Me and my friends were visiting Darjeeling this December 2024 and we booked this place cause of the reviews but all the reviews were fake...the rooms were extremely dirty and old. Most importantly the bathrooms were filthy,they kept old used soaps in the bathroom + the Cistern's flush were not working properly and it's located down the hill and in a very narrow lane so the car will drop you in the wider lane then you have to carry your luggages all by yourself + they do not even came to receive whereas we requested them to come cause we couldn't find the place. And the services + behaviour are really BAD. SO IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO STAY THERE THEN DON'T JUST DON'T!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ticksy’s Homestay and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff (Kritika ma’am) who made me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept soundly every night. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had great water pressure. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The restaurant was also a great place to grab a quick bite or enjoy a leisurely dinner with friends. The location was another standout feature, as it was conveniently located near many of the city's top attractions and restaurants. The staff were also very helpful in providing recommendations for things to see and do in the area. Overall, my stay at Ticksys’s Homestay was simply wonderful and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Darjeeling, this is definitely the place to be."

Very homely, comfortable good quality magresses, soft pillows, cozy, spacious interior. Just few Mrs walk from the mall road. Very cost effective and super helpful host. Helped us with the cab bookings, sightseeing and grocery. They prepared very tasty home cooked Nepali style meal for us as we reached late at night and had no option. On request the host prepared food for us though it was very late. Great experience

Please book a cab from the station / your source point & head towards the MAYFAIR NEAR MALL ROAD down the lane gate. The homestay owner mam told me to do so, BUT I was over adventurous. Rooms were well maintained. They shall respond to all of your problems facing during the stay. This is a perfect place to be with your friends & chill for a night & get a great view in the early morning as the observatory hill is in walking distance, so the mall area. Owner mam was constantly guiding me how to travel the whole darjeeling in a fine manner. The only point of concern is NOT to take elderly people who have active knee disease or hilly slope climbing problems. Overall we had a pleasant stay there. Visited on 29th MAY, 2023.

It is really hard for elderly to get there. And with no sign board or landmark it got tricky; no one nearby knew where this place was. Lots of steps to get there. The rooms were good. They have a friendly dog (German shepherd) but people who are not comfortable around dogs might find it challenging. For back packers or young people looking for an economical stay. Its a good option

Ticksy's Homestay is one of the best places and very economical place to stay in Darjeeling. Calm and cool with zero noise. Its actually a home away home. The owners are very humble and very helpful. The quality of food is just excellent. A highly recommended location to stay in Darjeeling.
