I had an exceptional stay at Pinewood Homestay! The location is perfect, with its close proximity to Mall Road making it incredibly convenient to explore Darjeeling’s main attractions. Ruben, the host, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. His hospitality made me feel like I was staying with family, which added a personal and warm touch to the experience. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. If you’re lucky enough to book a room with a view, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama of Darjeeling that’s worth waking up to! Additionally, the terrace offers stunning views, making it a great spot to relax and take in the serene beauty of the hills. I highly recommend Pinewood Homestay for anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and an unforgettable stay in Darjeeling.

One of my best homestay experience. We were there on a family vacation and the host Ruben made our stay very comfortable. The stay provides warm hospitality and wonderfully diverse scenery. Pinewood Homestay is located at a prime location, very close to Mall road. Ruben provides all the necessary insights about the place like restaurants, shopping places, tourist attractions, etc which is very helpful. The rooms are very clean, cozy and is well equipped with necessary amenities. Apart from the balcony attached to room, we were also provided access to the terrace which provides amazing view. Our parents were super happy with this experience. I highly recommend the place to everyone.

Pinewood Homestay is just the Home away from your own home. Located in the heart of Darjeeling, it's a beautiful house, cosy, safe and very comfortable. This was one of my best stay experience ever. The room was top notch and everything was easily available. The USP of this stay is the host itself. He is not only a great host but a great human being. He took care of my parents and gave me guidance about the whole place. He guided us through sightseeing and food exploration as well. The room had every amenities you might need. Bed warmer, geyser, hot kettle. He also gave us complimentary bottled mineral water every day. Even didn't let me pay for the extra ones we took before check out. The pace is a 5 star location wise as well. I will highly recommend the place to everyone

We had a great stay at Pinewood Homestay. Ruben is a great host and ensured that we were totally comfortable. The location of the homestay is fantastic. Though you're in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, you are still distant from it. The mall, all the popular restaurants and cafes are in the vicinity. Whenever I travel to Darjeeling next, I'll surely book my stay at Pinewood.

I travelled with family during end November and I can assure you that this is a hidden gem for staying at Darjeeling. The term "A stone's throw away" literally and actually sits apt for this place when compared to distance from Darjeeling Mall. A quiet place tucked away right beside the mall overlooking Lamahatta, Rangaroon and Dawaipani hills. Now coming to rooms and hospitality. Unfortunately as we were a large group of senior citizens hence couldn't manage some clicks before we entered but I can assure you that you will love it considering the tidiness and attention to detail put in the rooms. Lastly, the host, Ruben. I have rarely come across a person so humble and warmly welcoming as Ruben considering the situation nowadays in any popular hill station where hotel owners, cabs drivers, agents or touts are literally waiting to rip off your pockets and charge a bomb. Anything you need to know, he is there to help you out. He took care of us as his own family and I won't forget that. I do wish this place keeps it's charm just the way it is now. I have finally found my 'sweet spot' in Darjeeling going forward. ☺️ Best Wishes Ruben !! P.S. - No Kanchenjunga views, but you can take 50-60 steps and view it from the Mall. Secondly, no kitchen setup or food with room as its not needed. You will be literally staying at the Mall and plenty of options for your taste buds to explore. You can have food in the rooms, cutlery is provided.

A Delightful Stay at Pinewood Homestay, Darjeeling We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Pinewood Homestay in Darjeeling. From the moment we arrived, the warm and cozy atmosphere of the homestay made us feel right at home. The owner, Ruben Dewan, is incredibly polite, helpful, and professional, always ready to assist with anything we needed during our stay. His hospitality truly made a difference! The homestay is ideally located, just 20 steps away from the Mall, making it super convenient to explore the local area. Despite being so close to the heart of the town, the homestay provides a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We highly recommend Pinewood Homestay to anyone visiting Darjeeling. Our stay was comfortable and memorable, and we would definitely love to return.
