My solo travel experience at tea view homestay was truly unforgettable! I stayed with the lovely Mr.Hemraj and family, who welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of their family. The cozy homestay was perfectly located, with stunning views and easy access to local attraction.and also the food was truly drooling. The homestay was more than just a place to stay – it was a warm and welcoming space that allowed me to connect with the locals and immerse myself in the culture. I highly recommend tea view homestay to fellow solo travelers looking for an authentic and enriching experience.

I recently stayed at Tea View Homestay in Darjeeling and unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. While the homestay's location is convenient and the views of the tea gardens are lovely, the service and amenities fell short of my expectations. The room was small and damp, with a leaky bathroom and inadequate heating. The bed was uncomfortable, and the linen was not clean. To make matters worse, the bed creaked and made a loud noise every time I moved. There were no basic amenities like a TV or a kettle in the room, which was surprising given the high price point. The windows didn't close properly, letting in cold air and noise from outside. The geyser was only available for 3 hours in the morning, which was inconvenient. The food was not upto the mark. The host was not very welcoming or helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a commercial establishment than a homestay. To top it all, I was asked extra for check-out, even though the room was not meeting my needs and I had requested check-out in advance. The price was already steep, and this additional charge felt like a rip-off. Overall, my stay at Tea View Homestay was a disappointment, and I would not recommend it to others. There are better options available in Darjeeling that offer more value for money.

Although, it has been a year since I visited Darjeeling, I feel like there is a need to emphasize on the matter of how I was welcomed there. The whole experience there was top notch. Me and other two friends, when we visited, we had the greatest and richest experience of our lives. Such serene place, such mesmerizing views from our room in the homestay, and such a homely and warm welcome by the hosts of the homestay. We had a great stay there and it truly felt like warm hug. The decor, the food and our room, everything was top notch. Their service was excellent. I recommend this homestay to everyone, whoever is thinking of visiting.

Its the BEST homestay! The location is great. Slightly on side of Darjeeling town. Owners are very humble and supportive. Rooms are basic and clean and have a very beautiful view of Tea garden and overlapping mountains. Geyser is available at morning and evening. They offered us complimentary breakfast and it tasted awesome. We asked for 1 extra bed and blanket and they provided it. View from the window is breathtaking in the morning sunshine. Also in the night whole of Darjeeling town twinkling lights are right in front of you. It was beautiful stay. The homestay was decorated amazingly. The dining space and kitchen are very hygiene and so beautiful.

We had a lovely stay at Darjeeling at the beautiful homestay . The view is beautiful. The owners both are sweet and helped us navigate and plan our stay. Both the extremely warm people and my kid loved the place. Keep up the good work.

This was the most amazing homestay in the Whole Darjeeling. View are amazing, Rooms are clean and the Host is very nice. By the way he is singer and has really cool talent. The mall road is little far from the homestay you can’t walk. But if you can manage I assure you even hotels can’t match the standard of This homestay. One thing more the Food was very tasty and Just like home.

Rooms with mesmerizing view of happy valley tea garden. Darjeeling mal road is at just 20mins walking distance. U can also get car @300/- for Mal

The BEST! First, like others mentioned, the location is great. Away from the chaos of the Mall but conviently close. The view is fantastic right from my room, with the fields of tea and the never ending mountains. The rooms are basic but clean. The price is very reasonable. But the best is the warm home feel of what a "Homestay" is all about. Hemu and Rupa (husband-wife owners) are great and I enjoyed conversing with Hemu but especially his passion for music. And I was able to share with Hemu's parents, with a nice long conversion withhis father about life. What a great stay. What a great experience. Thank you.
