Magic Mountain Homestay

Magic Mountain homestay provides a great view of the Kanchenjunga from it's balcony. The owner Vivek Shreshtha is a very nice and humble person and he was very helpful during our stay. The room in which we stayed was big and the bathroom was big as well. The room can easily accommodate four persons. In terms of location, it is near the Darjeeling railway station but you have to climb down a lot of stairs in order to reach the homestay. This is the only negative that I found about the homestay and honestly it really cannot be called a negative. Overall a great experience especially witnessing the sunrise on the Kanchenjunga right from the balcony

One of the best views and best host you'll come across in Darjeeling. Vivek Daju is really a great host and will take care of all your needs here during the stay. The view is really mesmerizing from the balcony of the homestay.

Undoubtedly the best homestay in Darjeeling. I have been there twice and now it feels like home. Wake up with an 180° view of Kanchenjunga. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds. They have an amazing social area where you can sit and watch the night sky. The best thing that struck me is their hospitality. And if these things are stopping you from going there then you should know that they have three lovely dogs. The host Pranish Pradhan is a very hospitable man and has many stories to tell about Darjeeling. So, if you are ever in Darjeeling and need a place to stay then I would highly recommend magic mountain Homestay. Go there and have a lovely time guys.

One of the worst experience we had there. Room were good but the hotel is situated down slop thus it would be very difficult to carry Luggage from hotel to main road. Water supply was not good. The Kanchenjunga view from hotel is Admeriable.Free WiFi was there.

It's a really great place and you can see Kanchan Jangha from there. They were very kind and polite with us. You won't regret your stay here.

The stay was very clean and cozy. The hosts were really helpful and polite. Overall a great place with beautiful mountain view at a reasonable price.

This is the worst place to stay and they gave very worst service. Actually an agent named Rajneesh booked this hotel for us. He is a worst trip arranging agent. These people are literally worst and money minded. They totally spoiled our Darjeeling trip and made us to think that Darjeeling is a worst place to visit.
