The Silver Spring

An excellent homestay in a serene location with a wide angle view of the Kanchenjunga and the toy trains meandering below. Good food and caring hospitality by Mr. Thotchen Lama and his staff. Mr. Lama's recommendation of an excellent eatery called Bonneys left us well satiated and not regretting that we didn't visit Glenarys, Keventers or Kunga. It was indeed a great experience and we look forward to visiting soon again.

The position of the homestay will help to enjoy the view of Darjeeling city. The wide range of the city is clearly seen from here, especially the beauty of the night with full of dazzling lights. The Kanchanjangha is also clearly visible from the homestay. The food is also very homely. Breakfast is complementary. The behavior of Thochen Lama is very good. They provide car service to drop and pick up also. So come here and enjoy your holidays remarkably.

One of the most Finest Homestay to stay in Darjeeling, though it is not too close to Mall but you can easily reach there by 20 mins walking or our Homestay owner will drop and pickup at a very nominal charges. The Food quality is very good, rooms are cozy spacious and clean, nice ambience to stay in peace. The owner Mr. Thochen Lama is truly a gentleman, very polite, calm and cool, a bit shy person. The view from balcony and from terrace is awesome, Must try dish Aloo Paratha, Chilli chicken. Overall experience is too good, highly recommended. Love to go there again.

Beautiful location. In derjeeling there is a different derjeeling so calm, cozy, full of landscape, awesome hospitality. Hotel rooms are spacious, clean Want to visit again. Thank you Tochen Lama ji for your hospitality

Home stay in literal sense. The owner is a very friendly and welcoming person. When the weather is clear Kanchajunga Mountain View can be seen along with the city.
