Teesta Homestay (Darjeeling Town)

We had a fantastic time at Teesta Homestay in Darjeeling. The rooms were spacious and very clean, including the washroom. The food was delicious and made our stay even better.The homestay offers a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their service made us feel right at home. Overall, this homestay is a great place to stay in Darjeeling and We would love to visit again.

The room and bathroom is spacious with a small kitchenette. It’s nice to sit at the balcony, take in the lovely view and socialise with the other guests. Everyone seems happy here, there is a lovely friendly and homely atmosphere. The food is very good, fresh and tasty. We wish we could stay longer! We are planning on coming back for a longer stay because it’s a lovely place to stay, away from the crowds in Darjeeling. Thank you for your hospitality Subhash Uncle! You are genuinely an awesome man. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Teesta Homestay, it was really a unique experience for us. Even my parents were totally satisfied with overall facilities. Actually we felt like we're at home, with over enthusiastic people ready to serve round the clock tirelessly. Hats off to their dedication towards the guests. I must also admit that the rates of homemade balanced food & the room rent were very reasonable. Thanks a lot uncle, auntie & entire staff of Teesta Homestay for making our Darjeeling trip memorable.

Teesta Homestay is one of the best homestays in Darjeeling away from the Mal Junction. Subhash Agarwal is the owner of it, he is a phenomenal personality. We didn’t get cars to reach his home, he himself came to us to pick us up from the bus stand. He also drew a map for us. Rooms are clean and large enough. 1st day, we stayed in his own home. That room is a view room, hills can be visible from that particular room. He has a library upstairs. Love that. The washrooms were also clean. You may opt for veg or non-veg dishes there. The food tasted awesome. We loved those. His hospitality was outstanding. His age might be 70+. This homestay is Just near the Singtam Phatak. Zoo and HMI, Botanical garden are easily accessible from this homestay. Mal is just 20-25 min walking distance from here. If you want to choose a homestay in pick up season, want to stay away from Mal or congested area you can opt for this homestay. They charge 1500-2000 as per season. You can get a private car from him also for sightseeing. He can arrange some cars at an affordable range.

Amazing experience, uncle is very helpful , he is always available to answer any queries or help that we needed during the trip . Also, the care takers are very helpful and they serve very good homemade food. The place has good connectivity, and you can easily find maruti vans that will take you to Darjeeling mall(central) in 10 min. Moreover the Darjeeling zoo is at walking distance so that's a plus point. Overall it's value for money. I will surely stay here when I visit next time.

A marvelous home stay at Darjeeling city. Got this homestay while traveling and unplanned Darjeeling stay. The most mentionable part of Teesta Homestay is the amiability, and services offered by Mr. Subash and his team. Food prepared by Subhash Ji's wife is remarkable delicious and healthy. Has parking space for cars and motorcycles, which are free for guests. Very strong WiFi internet connection comes for unlimited devices of guests. Has a amazing view of Darjeeling city and northern side of the mountain from the terrace of the Homestay. As a Google local guide, recommending this home stay if you are visiting Darjeeling.

It really provides homely atmosphere, comforts and care to the dwellers. Soft, polite and cordial behavior of the owner and all the team members is really heart winning and praiseworthy. The rooms and the wash-rooms are cosy, neat n clean. The scenic beauty of the hills and mountains as seen from the balcony is really awesome. The home made, non-spicy simple food is another point of appreciation. Although the approach road is little narrow and off the main road, but the other positive aspects evens out all these odds.
