Darjeeling Residency

Visited earlier to this property i.e at HI DE home stay. It was good,that time. STAY:- 30-12-2024 TO 01-01-2025 ROOM NO :- 201&202( HOWEVER COMMENTS BELOW APPLICABLE FOR ALL ROOMS) This time ,we were really upset looking into the poor maintenance of rooms,it was badly stinking inside rooms,floors found badly damaged. Damaged floor covered with a dirty,wet & stinky carpet. Bed linen found horrible,most unhygienic. Services is extremely bad.As per room rent paid breakfast was complimentary - but unfortunately the manager is not at all clear about the meaning of complementary?? ELECTRIC KETTLE FOUND NOT WORKING,ASK THEM TO CHANGE - THEY ARE RELUCTANT TO CHANGE. Simply wastage of time & money. Due to rush we could not get other place to move out from this horrible home stay. Most unhygienic to stay.No ventilation in toilets- difficult to stay inside room. ONCE AGAIN REPEAT -SIMPLE WASTAGE OF MONEY AND HAVE MISSED THE YEAR END AMBIANCE . PLEASE AVOID THIS PARTICULAR HOME STAY ,UNTIL IT IS PROPERLY TAKEN CARE . HAD EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE STAYING THIS PLACE . PLEASE DON'T RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO STAY HERE.

The rooms were not good. There was no room service. We had worse experience.

Great welcome gesture and view from hotel is great. 1. Lunch and Dinner will be served but need to book for dinner. 2. Food quality is also good. 3. They also arrange your trip by needs 4. Room is clean and cosy. For location you can check out map for better understanding.

We stayed for 2 nights in Darjeeling, and had a very nice time. We stayed in the mountain view room, the view was spectacular, only drawback was the fog. In the month of February we didn't get a proper view because of the fog. The management was very helpful to us. Thank you for a very memorable trip.

SAY Homes stay ! One of very worst experience in our life yet. Room quality is very bad that are showing morf photograph in their page. In MAP Plan offer only one paratha/ 3 roti if you anything extra they will first ask for payment. Everyday and night only follow up for payment also they threaten for if payment dealy they will drop you in middle of trip . All people please don't waste your money for this Home stay for yours Darjeeling trip.

The room was very spacious,clean,and the amenities we needed.Breakfast was delicious and with many choices. The people in reception were very helpful, not just check in and check out, but also in giving direction to spots. Really I spent my best of moment of life . Thank you SAY for giving me best experience in my life.

Staff behavior is very good. but hotel to mall road distance are so far, and hotel room was very small. Rooms switche board are broken. Hotel Wi-Fi connection are so poor. Room bedsheets are so dirty. Food is good but food options is too short. This hotel rooms are not Deluxe room.

Very bad rooms and toilets. A vert big bug sitting on the toilet. Imagine if it crawls on somebody. We found bug in 2 rooms. Very bad beds and weird smell in the room. In conclusion I would like to say that if you ever come to darjeeling, never stay at this hotel.
