Very good place. The staffs were wonderful and the food was delicious. They cooked great bangali dish. You can see the sunrise over the snow capped mountain from inside your room. Highly recommend to stay in this place if you are visiting Kalimpong.

My God the view! The place is beautiful and untouched by chaos till now. It's quiet and peaceful around there. The hotel staff is very friendly, food is good as well. It takes a 105 stairs climb to the hotel from the road but, completely worth it.

We visited Chibo in the month of January 2016 with 2 small children in our group, both aged 3+yrs. We ere apprehensive of the weather and the facilities available there. We also heard that there may be water and electricity crisis there.||But Chibo Inn came as a big surprise to us.The cleanliness maintained in every nook and corner of the hotel will astonish you. Most of the rooms are well lit and the staff are very friendly. The food is always served hot and we never had any problem of electricity and water. We stayed there for 3 days. The kids got ample space to play as there is a well maintained garden area. There is a space of barbecue as well.||The view of Kanchanjangha from the roof top is mesmerizing....||We thoroughly enjoyed our trip....

I booked two triple bed rooms in March and I checked in here yesterday afternoon. The two rooms they provided are much below expectation. I got room no 2, where the toilet is a make shift one. A tall person can hardly stand and take a bath. Food is ok type. But the hospitality is very good. Before booking do not forget to ask the room type, because when i wanted to change my room today morning, they say it is not possible because of higher tariff. Also it is pretty hot here.

More like a homestay than a hotel, we spent 4 days at Chibo and it was a highlight of our trip.||The home itself is gorgeous. Sitting halfway up a rolling Himalayan foothill, it's surrounded by grounds where fresh vegetables are grown and there is even a small private nursery with very pretty flowers. The views of the valley below are stunning and even though it was too cloudy for us to get the full mountain views, we were still spoiled.||From the inn you can do lovely small hikes to gorgeous little villages which are dotted around the hill and even to a Buddhist monastery (though watch out for the big army base on the way as we got caught in it and confronted by an armed guard!)||The family which run the inn are so very friendly. Great chicken curries cooked up in the kitchen by smiling ladies, polite and friendly children running about whom we taught to play snap! They really took care of us and when Emily got ill, they were very concerned and sorted out a trip to the local doctor. They couldn't have made us feel more welcome. ||All in all, a very peaceful stay and if you want to avoid the relative stress of staying in Darjeeling or even Kalimpong, this is the place to do it. Very highly recommended!||

Homestay with the Bhattarais is away from the main market area but very nice location overlooking the kanchajunga. Value For money. Stayed in one big family room for 8 @ 2500/= per night and food 4 meals @ 450/= per person per day homely wholesome. The climb up from the car park is a little difficult 100 steps up hill through cardamom gardens is the only deterrent. Tea leaves are available for purchase.
