NillI recently stayed at this charming homestay with my family💖 The rooms were spacious and airy. My family thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and ease of the stay. The views from their terrace are absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the serene Mirik Lake and stunning mountains🏔️ . They also take you on nearby treks and to local farms, immersing you in nature’s beauty and the region’s culture. 🌿🚶♀️ Don’t miss the nearby monastery—it’s a peaceful spot that adds to the magic of this place. The host was extremely welcoming and attentive. She made sure all our needs were taken care of, making us feel truly at home. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway filled with adventure and warmth, I highly recommend visiting this lovely homestay. You won’t regret it! 🌟

NillI had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful homestay recently, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The owner's warm hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The homestay is a perfect haven for solo bike riders like myself, with its cozy and clean rooms, and affordable prices that don't burn a hole in your pocket. The best part? The owner's kindness and eagerness to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The homestay is spotlessly clean, and you can feel the love and care that goes into maintaining it. I left with beautiful memories and a heart full of gratitude. If you're looking for a home away from home, look no further! This homestay is a true gem. ❤️⚡️

NillI stayed at Haamro Ghar for a 3-nights short trip & I must say it was the most comfortable and memorable stay. The location is so apt, near the main road, lake as well as the Bokar monastery. All within walking distance. The greenery and views from the home are beautiful. The hostess is so lovely, always willing to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Already waiting for my next visit to Haamro Ghar.

NillIn my one day's trip to mirik, I have got the coziness of home in "Hamro ghar". The warm and welcoming nature of the host Anjalina and her family did not allow me to feel anywhere around 600km away from my own home 😊. The dinner time with the whole family and the morning tea with aunty and uncle 🤗 remains a memorable part of my journey. I enjoyed mirik and loved it like a cake 🎂 but Hamro Ghar was the cherry 🍒 on it. Next time I'm visiting Mirik, I wish to stay a little longer and if I bring my family, I know where to stay 😉 I love you Mirik.... 💕

NillI visited mirik last week along with my friends. The best decision that we made was to stay at mirik and not in darjelling. Haamro ghar is situated at mirik which is the most beautiful and peaceful town I've seen yet. Haamro ghar is the best place to stay in mirik. The rooms are very spacious, clean and view is surreal. Anjelina and her family makes you feel like you one of them and a part of their family. I loved their hospitality and the food which I enjoyed there everyday. They are the very warm and welcoming. Haamro ghar is the best place to stay in mirik and They are the perfect hosts. Mirik was an unforgettable experience. Lots of love for mirk and haamro ghar😇 do visit this place.

NillI spent a month at Haamro Ghar, and it was an unforgettable experience. Although it wasn't my first visit to Mirik or my first time staying in a homestay, this extended stay truly stood out. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, I never felt like an outsider. In fact, after spending so much time with Anjalina, Ruby, Aunty, and Uncle, I might even choose their company over my own relatives! Staying at Haamro Ghar was exceptional, and the hosts have become like family to me. Plus, if you're a cat lover, this place is a dream come true. Thank you, Anjalina, Ruby, Aunty, and Uncle, for making my stay so memorable. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

The overall family will make you feel like you are at home at Mirik. They help you out beyond your expectations. They also offer you amazing food if you booked it beforehand. One must try their Newari thali It is top notch. They have really good homestays with lots of plants, cats and so much love. One should definitely try if you are a solo traveller and want something at an affordable price.

NillI stumbled upon Haamro Ghar while strolling through the streets of Mirik. Having traveled extensively and stayed in a variety of accommodations, including hotels, hostels, and homestays, I can confidently say that Haamro Ghar stands out as one of the best experiences. Here are a few reasons why: 1. The Aesthetics: The design and decor are thoughtfully curated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. 2. The Food: Delicious, home-cooked meals that include some unique local dishes and flavors. 3. The Greenery: There are plants in every corner of the property, and lush greenery all around, providing a refreshing escape from urban hustle. 4. The Views: Stunning vistas that capture the natural beauty of Mirik and its surroundings. 5. The Pets: The five adorable cats roaming around the property add an extra layer of warmth. But most importantly, 6. The People: They truly put the 'home' in homestay. The genuine warmth and hospitality from every person at Haamro Ghar are unmatched. I’d recommend Mirik and Haamro Ghar 1000% to anyone looking for a chill, relaxing break.
