AAYNA HOMESTAY

We had a wonderful stay at Aayna Homestay. The owners are extremely polite and respectful, true “Vodrolok & Vodromohila”, with zero misbehavior or unnecessary arguments. They are genuinely guest-centric, always checking if we needed anything and even helping us arrange a Toto for sightseeing. The owner was ready to negotiate the fare on our behalf, and since I had already checked with other drivers, I know there was no bad intent or commission involved, it was purely to help us. The big room was spacious with a standard bed and an extra single bed, two fans, AC, and a well-equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, snacks, microwave, fridge, utensils, and 24x7 electricity wifi, and water. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, and thoughtfully arranged. They have very good attention to detail and all the necessary things were already in place, which made the stay hassle-free. The location is also good with plenty of street food nearby and a tie-up with a restaurant that delivers excellent meals, especially Bengali dishes and veg thali. Guests get a separate entry gate which gives full independence and privacy. Overall, it may not be a flashy resort but it truly feels homely, comfortable, and perfect for families visiting Shantiniketan. My mom and my 20-year-old brother even said that next time when we visit, we will definitely stay here again.

Nice place. very comfortable accommodation. Neat and clean . Communication is very good. It is connect all the Visiting places very easily. I will come back again, and my friends are also prefer this place to stay in Santiniketan

It is truly a home away from home in a peaceful yet prominent location within walking distance from the university. You'll get two bedrooms, a dining table, a divan and a kitchen too. The divan can be used as a single bed and for all 3 beds they provide mosquito net of correct size. The kitchen is equipped with gas oven, microwave oven, utensils and a mini fridge. The kitchen has good quality tea leaves, milk powder, biscuits, puffed rice and chanachur. Beyond all these creature comforts, the most unique aspect of this homestay is the paintings and decors that adorn the walls of the entire property. The house owner is a well known artist whose art has been showcased nationally and internationally. Yet, he is a down to earth friendly person who'll personally ensure your comfort and convenience during your stay. Colourful, thought-provoking contemporary art everywhere from the exterior paint to bedroom and bathroom will make your stay memorable.

This is a wonderful homestay that can be most aptly described as a home away from home! Run by a very friendly and genuine family. The amenities are awesome. 2 spacious rooms, optional AC, comfortably sleep 5 people, and a tie-up with a great food delivery service. The 1st floor is entirely available and has a separate entrance. The owners ensure a warm and pleasant stay with their personal touch. The small touches like flowers, snacks and tea/coffee in the kitchen, toiletries.... make this homestay absolutely exceptional! Definitely worth visiting and repeating!

This is the best homestay experience I've ever had. The property is scrupulously clean, well equipped with adequate utensils, crockery, a mini fridge, a microwave, an electric kettle, fresh new toiletries, and beautifully decorated with the owner's own artworks. The location is very convenient as well. You can choose to ask for toto rides to and from the station. You can opt for meals cooked by the owner's relatives, which is absolutely lovely and home-like, or choose to cook/order in on your own. Very reasonably priced as well and everyone is so courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Aynabari was awesome in every aspect. It’s perfect for family and small group of friends (4-5). The owner is a very humble person and caring. We will stay in Aynabari again if we go to Shantineketan next time.

Aayna Homestay is a work of Art in the land of the Bard of Bengal, that humbles you to the core. The homestay experience in itself is a work of Art that the host has carved out inch by inch, with innumerable small detailing to soak in and treasure as an experience. The host, who is quite a renowned Artist himself is a very humble soul and ensures that you feel at home, though not barging into your privacy. A chat with him in his studio over a cup of tea, about his life's trajectory can be a very fulfilling interaction. The rooms are large and very well maintained, with all modern amenities. It is located near the hub of Ratanpally. Choose this place if you want to unwind for a couple of days, away from the maddening crowd. Please make sure to maintain the vibe of the place that it is.
