We stayed at Takdah bungalow heritage no 10 for 2 nights. Its a nice quaint property with a good view from the porch.|Justin and Samuel are very courteous,hard working and provided great service. The food and home cooked meals wer very good.The bungalow Manager and owner are also very nice and they take care of everything when asked...||However for the claim of it being a 100 plus year old heritage property it could have been maintained better. Some amount of refurbishment is required to keep the rooms clean and tidy| ( there was some damp smell in the rooms and bathrooms) .|Also we had to ask for fans in the room as there is absolutely no circulation and afternoon becomes warm and you can't stay in the rooms.( these should be taken care of ) | There were 2 plug points but only one was working in the room.. so if you switch on the tv you can't switch on the fan 😞...|One suggestion they can install nets in the windows so we can keep them open without the worry of insects coming in..||Also there are 2 cute german shepherd dogs named brown and black however they have not been maintained well and they need to be given bath as they have lot of ticks and they were smelling a lot.|Overall we had a good time but some of these points mentioned need to be taken care of..

Had a great experience staying at the Bungalow number 10. My wife and I stayed in the Super Deluxe room. It is well maintained and very comfortable to stay in. The staff's behavior was really good. The food was very good and there were various items available to choose from. I would highly recommend this place if you want to spend quality time and enjoy the natural beauty of Takdah.

It was a fantastic experience staying at the Villa with ever caring owners Khagendra ji, Sova ji and Vinayak and their highly professional and ever smiling members of staff ensuring the stay is nothing less than a combination of luxury, comfort and home cooked lavish spread of meals which will force you to come back again and again. I would highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time in the lap of nature and away from the hustle and bustle of your city life, yet get pampered with best of hospitality !!

Had a great time with my mother and aunt this week at Heritage bunglow 10. Sova ji and Khagenji made sure we enjoy the stay without being tensed about food, room or anything ..Two shepherds 🐶 blackie and brownie were so gentle that I can't even stop talking about them. Sovaji & other kitchen staff were kind enough to feed us delicious food. We booked room no 3 which has an extra bed and it made our stay pretty much comfortable. The approach road is a bit Rocky (few metres from main road) but once you reach there, it'll be worth it. Absolutely no complaint. Would recommend to everyone visiting Takdah and wishing to have some relaxing time.

We stayed at Takdah Heritage Bungalow 10 for a span of 3 days in November 2023. It was a truly memorable stay for us as the owners Mr. Khagendra and Mrs. Shova are wonderful hosts.||||We were greeted warmly during our entry at the homestay and throughout our stay everyone at the homestay made us feel at home. The day we returned Mr. Khagendra plucked guavas from the tree in the courtyard and gave to us for having it on our way to station.||||The highlight of the homestay is the food cooked by Mrs. Promila. She is a great cook. All the foods cooked by her were absolutely delicious and she made sure we were well fed just like a mother. We had taken a three course meal package including morning tea and evening snacks.||||The homestay has a great view of the Rangli Rangliot Tea estate which can be visited on foot by a small trek trail. Mr. Khagendra suggested this route to us which we really enjoyed.||||The room we stayed was quite big with a separate dressing room. All basic amenities were available including geyser, TV, Wifi. The homestay premise and room were very neat and clean. There is no tea kettle in the room as it is prepared specially by the cook and one can enjoy the serene atmosphere while having tea every morning and evening in the balcony outside the room.||||The homestay also has two friendly dogs - "Black" and "Brown". Anyone especially kids will enjoy their company.||||I will surely visit Takdah Heritage Bungalow 10 again.

An awesome experience of great hospitality, delicious food , excellent rooms , fabulous linens and housekeeping . Special individual care is taken by the owners Ms Sova and Mr Khagendra . An array of great assistants , staff ,chef with two wonderful pets black and brown . Truly a home away from home . We surely plan to come back again .
