The Hosteller Mcleodganj, Upper Bhagsu

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and well-maintained — definitely exceeded my expectations for a hostel. The view from the property was absolutely beautiful and made the stay even more relaxing. The surrounding area felt safe and welcoming, with plenty of charming cafes just a short walk away — perfect for grabbing a coffee or bite to eat. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a friendly vibe. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at The Hosteller and it was the perfect stop for any backpacker! Located ideally near Bhagsu, it offers easy access to all major spots. The rooms and washrooms were impressively clean, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. The food truly felt like home – simple, tasty, and comforting. However, it would be great to see more variety on the menu. Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend it for backpackers !

The hostel is at a great location with clean rooms and cleaner washrooms. It’s near to the market place and also connecting roads. Recommend for backpackers and solo travellers. Few good cafés are also at a walking distance which makes it more accessible.

If your purpose of visit is to relax and stay away from crowd it is the place. Reaching there: By Auto: You have to walk stairs (steep) to reach here if taking auto.So be prepared ! By Cabs: Cabs can drop you at bhram yoga. From there it is hardly 50 meters walk downside but they charge more as it is at the top and far from city. Staff is very helpful. Stayed on weekday and it was quite calm and close to nature. Better stay in Mcleodganj if you are interested to visit tourist spots/shop etc.
