Rockway Hostel

Visited here on new year. Man o Man what an experience, this place is actually peaceful. Staffs were really good too. There’s also a trek starting from the hostel location. Enjoyed my time here with my boys. The lake beside the hostel was a gem, for the first time in my life I drank freshwater and felt so lively. If possible will visit here again and stay for a month.

The place is far away in a super calm spot near the river, but you gotta trek a bit to get there. Totally worth it though. The staff was cool. Plus, the stay was budget friendly, and the food was good too.

ROCK WAYYY! 🏔️🗿 I have a really close connection with this hidden charm in Old manali. I used to own Rock Top Cottage which is near the rock way so I usually came to this cottage too in my morning and evening walks. It's so peaceful and has a river music touch. I recently came by to give it a visit after like 5 years ig and it gave me immense joy and pleasure recalling all the good times I had here. I can't wait to vibe here again soon..📸🛌📌🌲👽🧳🤞🏻☕

If you are visiting this place you have to carry your own luggage and you have to walk 1km-2km. There are no roads till hotel. Service was very very bad. There's a traditional heater in the room, you have to put wood planks in that. Hotel staff was so high at night, we had to sleep without heater.

My First hostel stay ever in life, the environment and people are so nice and awesome, a fully comfortable and safe place for girls to stay. I stayed there for like 20 days and can't forget those days, that place and experience gives me the motivation that I can live more of myself and meet new people and keep going. The best escape that I ever had was at Rockway in Manali. I really love the place and people over there. You are going to make really good friends and memories in Rockway. 💝☺️

i was on a solo trip in mountains. after so much research i found this budget hostel. this is very beautiful place located at an amazing location. this place is located into the mountains away from crowed. one can witness the immense peace and charm of nature here. i met few fella travellers in this hostel and the owner is also very nice. this place is being run by a couple and they are doing all the stuff by themselves. their moto is to keep travellers happy and make their journeys more memorable. i stayed there for five days and i started missing them while writing this review.

Perfectly located with nature all surrounding and river flowing beside. Sound of birds and river flowing is the only sound you hear in property. Located in old Manali just a 5 min trail walk from all busy noise is a place for solace. Highly recommended!

Best backpacking experience ever! Out of nowhere I ended up in Manali and chose Rockaway Hostel as recommended by another backpacker. The place is so tranquil and yet so Cozy that I just didn't feel like leaving. You can hear the gentle stream water flowing, see the snow capped mountains and the lush green surrounding with apple trees! The rooms are comfy and had clean washrooms. The host Santosh is an amazing guy and super receptive. He will go out of the way to make you at home as well as give you his inputs on your travel plans based on his rich experience backpacking across the country. All in all if you are in Manali look no further! Can't wait to be back at Rockway. Cheers! Location: 10/10 Cleanliness & Rooms: 10/10 The Rockway team: 100/10
