NillThe nook, I don't know how to express what we felt there. But yeah this place have a beautiful creative vibes and it will surely enlighten your inner creativity and love for urself and around. Saloni is such a soft spoken innocent creative soul, who added so much of her energy into this place and you can feel it everywhere. Pragati adds more to this place by her talkative nature that helps people connect to the place, themselves and everything around. Every corner of the nook have the beautiful creative energy. It is in the middle of the forest and the morning sunshine and warmth really feels like heaven. And when it rains, the music of this place becomes really beautiful and soothing. Saloni is an amazing host, creative soul and beautiful human being I think so. Even after lots of work, she never miss to spend time with herself that's what special about her. She kept investing time with self and the nook and keep adding the creative touch to the place. There is utter silence and peace in this place that every spiritual soul will love so does those who want a break from the routine. I really love this place. I had just few moments of talk with saloni and Pragati, but I think that was the best moments of sharing and knowing eachother's perspective about life and healing. 🤍🪻 And food is really nice too. Such a sweet open minded space she has created that everyone comes there and feel healed.

NillThe place is more cosy than it looks in the pictures. It's well-maintained and clean. The crowd is good (mostly solo backpackers) and the food is good too. The host Saloni is nice and helps in making the travel very comfortable with local tips. The common area is nice and I could spend the whole day just chilling in there.

NillThe Nook Sainj - an indescribable experience. From the first day of our trip to the last, we experienced a home away from home. The host Saloni and volunteer Pragati together make the best combo of fun, lightheartedness, and adventure. The Nook really is a unique magical corner of the world, with its own personality, own unique people, and the two dogs - Austin and Penny who are beautiful and funny. You'll never experience the same day again here, there's always something to do even when you're by yourself. The small trek down and up to the market will humble you, make you realise how convenient we have it in the cities but also, how less do we really need to live happily. The small garden space outside for bonfire and hanging out with your group is just as wonderful. The food is delicious and you'll never feel like you're missing home. Overall, it really was an 11/10 experience and I'll keep coming back to The Nook.

NillThe Nook is one of the best accidental finds I’ve come across in my life. Warm host Saloni and the chirpy volunteer Pragati made our stay very comfortable. It is a 1968 vintage himachali house with a view of the mountains, a backyard with hammock and flowers, two furry friends Penny and Austin and surround-sound of countless birds including the great barbet. Taxis/cabs were a phone’s call away and fellow backpackers were enthusiastic as well. I highky recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint slow-life homestay. Hoping to visit again for a longer time!

NillGood for people on workations who just want a quiet place to stay and work peacefully and do not want to explore much around. As accessibility of this place was bit of an issue. Although host Saloni was polite and helpful.

NillThe host Pragati was so rude & arrogant. Except her all things were good. I literally had the best sandwich ever made by the beautiful cook.

NillThis was my first backpacking trip to Himachal, and choosing The Nook for my stay was absolutely the right decision. While the location can be a bit tricky to find, the stunning view more than makes up for it. It's also conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy to explore nearby areas if you're traveling on a budget. The Nook offers a warm, homely stay with delicious home-cooked meals and a breathtaking view of the surroundings. Our host, Saloni, ensured we had a true community experience, adding a personal touch that made the stay even more special.
