Moustache Jaipur

I totally loved my experience with this hostel. This property has both dorms and private rooms which are clean and spacious. I liked the breakfast. The options were limited but everything was tasteful, enough to keep you full for the day. In the evening, either you can spend time at the terrace, sit, have a drink , relax by sitting in the swimming pool or can play games, read books in the common area. I ordered few cocktails at one of the evenings, and I feel they could be really better. But the other option is you can order anything canned . All in all , I would recommend this property to any one visiting Jaipur .

The Hostel is located near the train station and in walking distance. There are also some nice restaurants nearby. The hostel has a very lively and social vibe. Ayush organizes great activities and really knows his way around Jaipur, which adds a lot of value to the stay. He offers fun stuff like karaoke nights or city tours and connects the guests. Thanks to that, you quickly get to know other people. We`ve been in other hostels and haven´t experienced such a nice atmophere as in Moustache. My friend and I had a 4-bed dorm with a private bathroom which was in a good condition.

It was great. Budget friendly and it is in the centre of the city. Can easily visit all the tourist places. Has a great rooftop dining area and also the hotel aesthetics are good. Would recommend this every tourist. I have stayed in moustache in both udaipur and jaipur.

I stayed here in September 2024 in a private room. The check-in was extremely smooth and the staff was friendly. The bed they had was really comfortable! I stayed in the Taj hotel in Varanasi a few days before and I can say that the bed here was actually better! How is that for for a hostel! The Rooftop of the place houses a restaurant and a terrace which was great to meet other people. They have a chess board downstairs and I was allowed to borrow it to play with other guests and enjoy drinks from the restaurant. The restaurant itself was great as well since they brought juice and sushi for us to taste. The location is fantastic too and I would recommend staying here. My only advice to the staff is to stock up on more beer since they ran out while I was there and people wanted to order more.

The good: The location is great, very close to the bus stop for a number of bus companies and also handy for the Sindhi Camp metro (very easy to get to some central attractions.) The beds were comfortable and the lockers big and secure. The food at the Rooftop restaurant was great. The bad: I was the only female in a 6-bed mixed dorm, the other beds were occupied by males. To me, this isn't a mixed dorm. It's putting one female in a male dorm. Big no-no. As mentioned by other people, the night staff was very rude to me, and also to one of the guys in my dorm. I won't labour this point given it's been mentioned many times. Also didn't get the super friendly/welcoming/helpful vibes from the day staff that everyone else mentions, so I do wonder what their criteria for that is. The whole time I was there the cricket was on - I get that it's a big deal but only the staff seemed to be watching it and it killed any social vibes in the main common area. In short, I don't get the big deal. It's expensive and average.

We had just one day to explore Jaipur and weren’t quite sure where to start—but Sheriff made all the difference! He was incredibly attentive to our interests and found the perfect balance between suggesting must-see sights and listening to what we were curious about.||||Thanks to his local knowledge, we visited places we may never have found on our own, and everything we saw felt meaningful and interesting. He even found a perfect spot for us to have lunch—delicious food in a relaxed setting that suited us perfectly.||||Sheriff was also a very safe and careful driver, which we really appreciated as first-time visitors. His thoughtful approach made our short time in Jaipur feel full and well spent.||||We’re so glad we had him as our guide and would highly recommend Sheriff to anyone looking for a personalized, enjoyable, and stress-free tour of this beautiful city!

The cozy stay, relaxing jacuzzi, and friendly staff really seem to have made it memorable. It’s great that the cafeteria was a highlight too, especially for those peaceful early mornings and evenings. Even though the food was a bit more neutral to cater to international guests, it sounds like the overall atmosphere made up for it. A 10/10 experience is always a win! Staying at Moustache Jaipur was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. They welcomed us with tea and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Since we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast service started, they thoughtfully prepared a packed breakfast for us. I also forgot my watch at the hostel, and they not only helped me locate it but also arranged for it to be packed and posted to me. Their hospitality and generosity truly made my stay memorable. Highly recommend!
