Let's start with the positives — the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the manager is friendly and genuinely helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. However, there are a few issues that need attention. The bathroom conditions are quite poor — there's barely enough space to stand or change clothes, and the water drainage is so ineffective that the floors get flooded. The basin is also too small to even wash your face or brush properly. Additionally, the top bunker beds lack curtains, which affects privacy. It would also be great if there were a game room with options like pool or other indoor games to help residents unwind and socialize. One more thing to note — the food options are quite limited, with only British, English, or French cuisines available. It would be nice to see more variety, especially some local or Indian choices. I already mentioned that staff and owner was too humble and nice but what I mentioned bad in my review was about the bathroom and menu options and there were too many lizards all over the place and roaming around the bedsheet or curtains. If I am being nice with u don't try to show ur tantrums over me. I just stated the structural problems. I also don't have any grudges on u.

Definitely got the 5 star experience at budget prices! The room is one of the best we’ve had in our month of traveling India so far. Great hot water, good A/C, and the bed/comforter and pillows were just like home. Had an amazing view of sunset from our room and sunset from the roof is unbeatable. Great breakfast as well!

I had a great stay there with my friends last month absolutely no complaints! I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for dormitory-style accommodation. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had a really friendly vibe. One thing we all found quite funny, though, was the toilet flush in our room😅 It was placed unusually high—so high, in fact, that we had to stand up to reach and flush it! We honestly couldn’t figure out the logic behind the setup, but it gave us a good laugh every time. Just a small quirky detail in an otherwise awesome stay!

Had a great experience at Rahi Backpackers! The host was innocently nice. The rooftop is absolutely amazing — serene views, perfect vibes, and beautiful aesthetics all around. The rooms were quite literally super cool 😅 — great for Udaipur’s summer! Super budget friendly Only one small drawback: the AC works from 9 PM to 9 AM, but honestly, it’s manageable and doesn’t take away from the overall comfort. The location is ideal, especially for solo travellers and backpackers looking for a chill, budget-friendly stay. Would definitely recommend!

My Two-Night Stay at Raahi Backpackers Hostel, Udaipur I recently spent two nights at Raahi Backpackers Hostel, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of my Udaipur trip. Location Raahi is right in the heart of the old city, making it incredibly easy to explore places like Lake Pichola, City Palace, and Jagdish Temple. Everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away, and being surrounded by Udaipur’s local charm added a lot to the experience. Atmosphere & Cleanliness The hostel has a warm, relaxed vibe. The dorms and private rooms were well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Bathrooms were tidy and regularly cleaned, which made the stay even more pleasant. Rooftop & Food The rooftop café was easily my favorite spot. Watching the sunset over the lake with a cup of tea was the perfect way to end the day. The food was really good too, with a mix of Indian and international options that were both tasty and well-priced. Staff & Hospitality The team, especially Vijay, was incredibly welcoming. They were always around to help with directions, travel suggestions, or just to chat. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Community Feel There’s a great backpacker vibe here. I met travelers from all over, and the common areas, games, and occasional bonfire nights made it easy to connect and share stories. Value for Money For the location, cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience, I’d say Raahi offers excellent value. It’s a perfect stay if you're looking for something budget-friendly without compromising on quality or atmosphere.

Absolutely loved this hostel! We stayed in the private room & it was so lovely - spacious, A/C, hot water and so comfy! The staff are so lovely and the location is FAB! Would highly recommend! Amazing view from the rooftop terrace for sunset! Amazing value!!
