It was an amazing stay, highly recommended for solo travellers. Amazing sunset views from the rooftop. The cafe serves delicious food, best french toast I have ever had. Beautiful decor in dorms and rooms. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is special and filled with joy. Special mention to all the volunteers - Barirah, Anurag, Dwisha, Priyanshu, Prabhu and Ashish. All of you made me feel like family. The jamming sessions and sunrise tour will always be my best Udaipur experience. Hope to see you guys again soon.

Loved my stay at Hostel Mantra. Stayed there in a 4 bed dorm for 6 nights.|The atmosphere throughout the hostel was friendly. The rooms and washrooms were well maintained and clean. Although small (as most dorms are), it was not a problem for me as some of the beds were vacant. The rooms had working AC, fan and lights. The reading light near my bed was not working but wasn't much of an issue.|The service was good as the rooms were cleaned daily.||The location and rooftop is the hostel's USP. It is located at a walking distance from most of the touristy spots. Lal ghat, Gangaur ghat, city palace, Jagdish Temple, Jagat Niwas are at walking distance.|The rooftop offers a beautiful view of the Pichola lake. The sunset from the rooftop is just amazing.||It is also good for people who are on workation. There are many places in the hostel that one can work from. Wifi is available throughout the hostel. I worked mostly from the rooftop and the indoor section of the cafe.|There's another indoor section on the 3rd floor from where people can work.||The rooftop has a cafe as well. Have mixed reviews of it. Had parathas in the mornings and really liked them. However, other food items like sandwiches and crispy chicken were not upto the mark given their price. Overall, the food can be improved a lot.||The vibe of the hostel is good and they organize many activities as well. Went on a sunrise tour with them to Raitha hills. The hostel staff was friendly and answered all the queries that I had during my stay.

I had the besttttt time staying here! the highlight of my entire trip was this hostel❤️ firstly, the people who manage this beaut place, be it volunteers or otherwise - Ashish bhaiya, Dwisha, Priyanshu (and the rest of the team members, unable to recall names, apologies) - all of them had such great energy. so welcoming, fun-loving and warm that you'd feel at ease within a few hours of spending time with them. secondly, the food✨absolutely goood and in such generous proportions, too. each of the items i tried in that menu were so nicely prepared. would 10/10 recommend coming here even if its just for their Lakeback cafe. third, the evening sessions they host bring people together in such a beautiful way. From Karaoke to Movie to DJ nights (the dj one unfortunately got cancelled due to rain but was totally saved by Priyanshu, his guitar and singing skills, along with Dwisha's, haha!! Just sitting indoors, while it rained outside, jamming with everyone, singing songs is such a warm memory for me.), all of it had great arrangements and clearly had a lot of thought put into🪻 They had also hosted an early morning drive to a secret sunrise + waterfall point, though i wasn't able to join, I heard only great things about it and even better pictures! fourth, the rooms!! so, Ashish bhaiya (the founder) was vvv kind to give us an upgrade from the Standard Private Room to the Deluxe one and for us, that gesture alone meant alot💛 The room was quite spacious for a hostel, with a desk, a chair, nice linen, well kept and maintained bathroom, along with neat and tidy towels and napkins. It had sufficient lighting and was absolutely worth every penny we spent. fifth, if you havent checked out the photos of the rooftop, you should. You'd be sold on that alone. The best part is that the property is tucked away, so there's no traffic noise. Its also so close to Lal Ghat. Even if you spend your evenings/night chilling at the rooftop, you'd end up having a great time all thanks to the view because its at height so you get the clearest view of sunsets, mountains and the whole landscape opposite to Lal Ghat. all in all, i'd like to highlight that this was my first ever hostel experience and its because of the amazing humans running the place and the beautiful property that I feel confident in travelling and staying at hostels more. Thanks to the whole team for making this so worthwhile for me💛

Stayed at Hostel Mantra and honestly had such a great time! 🌸✨ The place has super chill vibes, perfect to just relax and meet cool people. You’ll always find the best company here, whether it’s fellow travelers or just the easygoing vibe around. What really stood out was my hist Ashish — so warm, helpful and genuinely amazing. Made the whole experience feel extra special. Definitely a spot I’d go back to! 🌿💫

This place is pure bliss for solo backpackers. The vibes are raw and real with beautiful blend of peace and connection. View from this hostel is so serene. Staying here you will unfold a thousand untold stories. They say the nicest souls are often the ones you meet for the shortest while, you’ll find many of those here.

The best and most convinient hostel for solo travellers, nearest to Gangaur Ghat, beautiful panoramic view from the rooftop of the hostel. You have the view of lake Pichola as you step out of property. Most of all, the host here are great 💫 helpful, caring and easiest point of contact for any query or concern for your whole trip. I would love to be here again and hope to see them. My hosts deserves the speacial mentioning Priyanshu, Dweesha, Bareera Thank you guyz !!

Staying at Hostel Mantra has truly been one of the best hostel experiences The moment we arrived, we felt a sense of warmth and comfort. The cleanliness is absolutely top-notch – everything is well-maintained, fresh, and hygienic, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The staff here are extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling, making you feel at home instantly. A special mention goes to Ashish Bhaiya and Bhushan Bhaiya the wonderful owners – their polite and humble nature sets the tone for the entire place. They go out of their way to make sure every guest feels comfortable and happy. One of the highlights of our stay was the Scooty ride which turned into a memorable adventure – definitely a unique experience you won’t find everywhere! It’s not just a hostel, it’s an experience. Totally worth it – I’d highly recommend Hostel Mantra to anyone visiting. Can’t wait to be back again!
