COOKIES STAY BY (La Vaca India Varanasi)

Cookies Stay was the perfect place for our time in Varanasi. The rooms were clean, the beds super comfy, and having hot water was a great bonus. The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The atmosphere was welcoming, making it a great spot to relax after exploring the city. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Varanasi.

Amazing hostel in Varanasi, everything was perfect. I booked a private room with bathroom, it was clean and very comfortable. The staff is very kind and attentive if you have any questions, they also can help you to book a tour through the city. The hostel is very close to the river and they provide all the information that you need before your arrival. Thank you La vaca India Varanasi.

If you're thinking about some good location then go for it, staff, rooms and area is quiet good. This hostel is only 15 mins away from kashi vishwanath and 10 mins from Assi ghat. This is the prime location with prime facilities and affordable prices.

Like many hotels in India, it seems to be run by unprepared kids. My room was clean, acceptable I would say, the bathroom was indecent and uncomfortable (the typical Indian bathroom unfortunately). Everything is old and poorly maintained. It could even be okay considering the national standard, but everything is worsened by the fact that at night there is always noise, continuous and of all kinds. You can tolerate everything, but when you can't even sleep in a hotel it becomes useless

I just reached La Vaca in the evening. It’s a nice little place & pocket friendly for students or travellers. I find the bed comfortable after riding the bike from Kolkata all day today.

Highly recommend Cookies Stay. Faiz and his staff are friendly, hospitable and kind. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything that I needed. I stayed in a private room and it was perfect, only a short walk from Assi Ghat. Faiz was kind enough to show me around Varanasi and take me on a boat ride on the ganges. Thankyou Faiz for being an incredible host and friend 🙏🏼

Pretty clean compared to indian standards, but the shower was cold and the clothes we sent to the laundry came back wet. Very loud, they were doing construction works during the night (?)

Absolutely fantastic all round, it’s better than we could have dreamed and we dream big. Faiz, his family, friends and colleagues, really looked after us well! We have stayed in a few hotels in India, so far and as expected, from our research and from our friend’s previous experiences in India, we were mislead by the advertising. We thought we would try a hostel and it truly exceeded our expectations. I am honestly struggling to put into words just how wonderful our stay at cookies, was. Everything was more than perfect and everyone involved in the business spent so much time and put so much effort into not only welcoming us, but helped us efficiently and effectively on planning the rest of our trip. If India wasn’t so big, beautiful and wonderful we would have stayed longer. Faiz, family, friends, colleagues and other guests we met at cookies, if you get to read this review; I wish you all the best, my kindest regards and true gratitude for making Sharon and I’s, stay magical and I hope to see you again 🤩🙏✌️
