Wind Fall Horsley Hills

We visited this place last week of Dec 2022. As a small hill station "Horsley Hills" is an awesome place for a short trip, I can give 5 out of 5 to the place. But this accomodation - " Wind fall " By APTDC is really in a terrible condition. I have visited quite a few accomodations offered by KSRTDC, TTDC( which I found to be very good so far) in different places but APTDC's service and response is really pathetic which I have experienced( my 1st exp with APTDC) . They even don't bother to reply to mails. Initially i booked a cottage, thinking usually cottages are more comfortable & luxurious. But unfortunately I couldn't find any images of their cottages ( specially the interior images of rooms ) finally I booked blindly without seeing. Over phone I spoke to one Mr. Srinivas at their Horsley hills reception desk and requested to share me some images of rooms, so that I can be assured that it's safe & tidy. But he directly refused to send any images of rooms. Same I requested to their mails also. Mails are not replied till now. Then I searched on YouTube and seen the pathetic condition of their cottages. Over phone Mr. Srinivas asked me to book in 'wind fall' for better rooms and I did the same cancelling my cottage booking. But till date I couldn't find any image of Wind fall - rooms ( inside ) Rooms were smelly, when we reached one Mr. Reddy Mohan cleaned the rooms, keeping us awaiting in our car, spreyed some room freshers but still Smelly. One of the bed rooms out of two was not having any window curtain. On request he said curtains are not available, keept for wash. Finally at night aroun 9:00pm on our repeatrd request he gave a curtain. But otherwise he was very cooperating and helping in nature. About food, APTDC got their own restaurant (which is common for all of their accomodation facilities in Horsley Hills) , they have food delivery at room only for dinner. In lunch it's Buffer @200rs (Veg) , separately one can order nonveg dishes ( chicken & fish etc), quality and quantity is above average and reasonably good. We got 4 complementary breakfast and one we purchased @95 rs as we were 5 people. They said it's unlimited , in breakfast there were hot idlis, kharabhat ( upma) hot and fresh & vada ( small one) and tea. But vadas were too small in size and rarely they make few, so most of the time one need to keep waiting for vadas and leave, demand was more but they don't make it more. Overall a great place for a short trip. Not too far from Bangalore. Many patches of the road from Bangalore is under construction or in bad condition. APTDC accomodation and response is miserable. Poorly maintained. Worst respose. Fortunately now there are many private resorts there which are looking as better option. Sharing images of Wind Fall room interior. ( images are quite bright due to my camera, practically rooms are much darkar even after putting the lights on ) Please avoid booking with APTDC Horsley Hills

Worst rooms very old. geyser doesn’t work properly flush and T.V won’t work at all leakage problem waste of money. Staff tried to rob my phone be Careful.
