Kences Hotel

Not sure if this is 3 star or 4. But I stayed in their studio suite room, it was ambient... Breakfast could have more options of food... And not sure why there was no non veg food in the breakfast.. rest all is good

So let me give a brief summary of my stay so the guy at the checkin desk extremely rude and arrogant , was so nonchalant like we owed him a favor ???? Anyways moving to the hotel its absolutely stinky theres some strange smell throughout the place the corridors the rooms everywhere . The floor carpets look like they haven't been cleaned for ages . The AC is loud as hell , the rooms are old and broken for the price they charge . Honestly wouldnt recommend there are better places nearby .

1. We recently visited Tirupati (6th and 7th May 2025) stayed at Kences Tpty, from the beginning the hospitality was not warmth. |2. During Check-in the girl at the reception showed a rude attitude towards our queries.| 3. She asked for all our ID CARDs (myself, my mom, my wife and daughter) which is not required at any cause legally and this was not informed to us before. We shared the same without any choice and they said its mandatory for the clients who pilgrimage ro tirupari. I'm not sure in what way the Tirupati temple policy is linked with Kences policy.|4. Hotel toilets are very bad and the closets are age old mechanisms there is no proper water flow in the closet. We have to push hard the flush to get the water throw. |5. This hotel is not allowing outside food which was not informed to us before. Security stopped the food ordered through Swiggy at the gate itself which was disappointing.... |6. The Supervisor at the restaurant during the morning breakfast times shows his authority by shouting loud at his servants and bearers before the visitors tend to have breakfast peacefully which was disturbing during the morning. |7. Overall Kences TPTY is an average hotel with low hospitality rating and poor room conditions. |8. Only good thing is the staff who helped us in carrying our luggages and security who helped us during check out. Kudos to them only. |9. Overall expensive, pathetic, disrespectful and poor experience at this hotel.

We booked and paid for 2 rooms for 2 guests via MakeMyTrip, but we are a family of three. On arrival, the hotel staff said the price would differ and asked us to call MakeMyTrip to make changes. While they did eventually give us the room, the conversation could have been handled more smoothly. It’s not a big deal that a family of 3 booked 2 rooms—clearly above decent for comfort—so it would’ve been better if the staff took a more customer-friendly approach instead of complicating things. That said, the room itself was clean and excellent. A little more warmth in service would’ve made the experience perfect.

Not worth for in this price , either reduce the price or develop the facilities Negative Aspects: * Insufficient room lighting. * Electrical Issues: * Loose power sockets, * Hard-to-press toilet float button, indicating possible malfunction. * Centralized AC with no individual control, limiting comfort. Only a power button is available. * Noisy elevator, suggesting a need for maintenance. * Security and who is handling your baggage always will say Namaste, that means to have to pay them each service Positive Aspects: * Dining: * Excellent breakfast. * Service: * Polite and helpful staff. * Location: * Convenient location for visiting Tirumala and surrounding areas.

The rooms are pretty good , water quality is poor. their staff and support is really poor , they can't speak English and they got so much of an attitude. They judge by your dress.

Very Spacious rooms, reception was very accommodating, There is renovation going on, which left the lobbies lingering smell of turpentine, but inside the room they dont have any issues. I ordered curd rice for room service, very delicious. Service was very prompt. Managing the property during renovation is not an easy task, but very well taking care of the guest needs. Keep up the good job..!

For the high tariff paid, we found the following essential things missing in the hotel: 1) absolutely no cleanliness in the washroom - toilet was not clean and the flush was not working. 2) poor housekeeping and irresponsive attitude of staff 3) complementary breakfast was tasty but less fruits. 4) the fruit juice was not tasty
