Pangchen Lodge

For those traveling in Arunachal for first time, a good thing to know is to not expect any big names in hotel during your trip to Arunachal, tourism has just started to grow and it will take some time before all these big brands come to the pristine environs of Arunachal.||||That should however not stop you from travelling to this wonderful part of India as they have nice and cozy places like Pangchen!||||Bomdilla is basically a town where you do a stopover on your way to Tawang, its nice little town with a monastery.||||When we reached Bomdilla on our first leg of journey it was already dark when we reached there, so we simply settled for the hotel that came first and thats how we landed in Pangchen for the first time.||||And yes we didnt regret! At INR800 this was definitely very cheap and it had all the hygiene factor covered...hot running water in bathrooms, clean room and TV that all comes with prompt service of the sisters who run this tiny little hotel. They are the most efficient hotel staff that I have ever seen anywhere!||||The food they serve is basic but tasty and served piping hot as they make every thing only after they receive orders. The other great aspect of eating here is that they only serve vegeterian food here which is hard to find in Arunachal.||||If you get a chance wake-up early in the morning and head to the hotel terrace for amazing view of Bomdila and the serene beauty of the mountains.||||Overall, its a place with great service if you are planning to do a overnight stay at Bomdila.

A shady hotel not made to any standard with small, congested & filthy rooms, toilets & dining but staff is courteous & food though limited in choice is okay, not adviced for those who want some class in stay but okay for a night enroute to Tawang, hotel needs to improve on its standard & hygiene

Its located very near to taxistand bomdila stayed here on my tawang trip rooms & toilets are clean comfortable with water heater etc food they serve is good ok its cheap and best comparing to other hotels nearby Double room for Rs700 ............................................................................................

Amazing Hospitalty and really the staff and other members are really so free and frank. Good room service and healthy and hygenic food

We visited this lodge, when it was under construction. So, there was full dust. Apart from that lodge was ok.
