Tashi Ga Tsel Motel

Our stay here was quite comfortable and happy. The food at the restaurant in this hotel was very delicious and we really enjoyed all our meals here. There was room heater in each room which made us cozy after coming back from the cold weather. Our host helped us get transport for Holy waterfalls and Bumla and also gave us umbrella to protect us from the rain. We really appreciate the hospitality and would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit Tawang. There is a good view of the great Buddha statue from this hotel and there is a huge compound for parking here. People here are very friendly and kind.

Rooms are big but no so clean, switches are all loose and not maintained, washroom bad, washbasin was not functional, multiple times load shedding with no proper backup or invertor, food is ok ok, staff is not so great and do not attend quickly to issues raised. Will not recommend this motel.

Excellent experience staying at the Hotel. Tenzing, the host is very courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He went out of the way and took us to Zimithang and regaled us with lots of stories and local information. Food at their mess is also really good... the best we had during the entire trip of Arunachal. Overall, a great experience

I recently stayed at Hotel Tashi Ga Tsel in Tawang, and it exceeded all my expectations. Despite initial reservations based on older reviews, the change in management has made a significant positive impact. My 3-night stay was nothing short of amazing, with a well-appointed room at an affordable cost. The heating system kept me cozy while I enjoyed the breathtaking snowfall through the expansive glass doors. The staff was exceptionally helpful, ensuring a warm and comfortable experience even in freezing temperatures. They efficiently organized a Bumla trip at a fixed cost. The daily room cleaning with fresh towels and amenities was commendable. I'll undoubtedly choose the suite room for a luxurious yet affordable stay when I return to Tawang. Highly recommended!

We found our stay at Hotel Tashi Ga-Tsel comfortable. The staff is receptive and met our requests. We were a family of three and stayed in a double room. The room was clean, albeit a bit small for the price, but there was ample light through the windows provided and the basics were covered. The location is great: the hotel's campus is a 3-minute drive away from Tawang's Old Market while retaining its quiet. The Giant Buddha Statue is clearly visible (as it is from certain rooms as well) as there are not a lot of buildings nearby. Loads of parking space as well. The staff, led by siblings Mr. Tenzin and Ms. Dolma, was courteous and engaged in conversation about Tawang and places nearby. They made our stay better and I would like to thank them.

If it is Tawang my high recommendation will be for hotel Tashi Ga-Tsel. I can vouch for the warm hospitality & the supreme level of commitment right from the owner’s family themselves to ensure the best stay for you. Let me share my experience wherein I stayed there for 3 days , on the last day of my stay my wife suddenly fell sick & it required immediate hospitalisation for her. There stepped up the owners daughter Ms. Losang Dolma , she not only drove us to the nearby Hospital but stayed with us all the time till my wife recovered & then finally she drove us back to the Hotel. We would be ever grateful to Dolma for her help & support & let me assure you that it’s not for our family alone , every guest family staying in that hotel is being equally pampered by Dolma & her team of support staffs right from the GM , Tenzing Thandoe to the other support staffs. ||||After all these turmoil , I took the liberty to ask Dolma if I can do something for her in return. It is hard to believe the reply that came from her was , “ Just keep me in your blessings “||||I am a frequent traveler but I have never seen such level of support & humanity from the owner of any hotel. ||||Thank you Dolma , our good wishes for you “ Always stay blessed “ ||||God bless Dolma & Hotel Tashi Ga-Tsel||||Thanks once again 🙏
