The Monyul Residency

Hotel is located at the heart of the town.. Mr. Dipu is found to be very helpful towards our plans and he arranged our programs nicely.. food is ok but need to improve their room service facilities.. As a whole we had a great stay at Monyul, Tawang

Purely an average hotel. Could give it a better review only if the manager "Sri Dipu" was not too ambitious. At the time of checkout he even started to inflate the bill just by calling few onion slices and a dash of lemon served during our lunch and dinner as salad and charging fifty rupees extra for it. No WIFI. Food is tasteless yet expensive. But our room was large, location is very near to the main market. Adequate room for car parking.

One word worse hotel.Services are very bad.Whatever they charged for deluxe twin sharing room not worthy. Food is very bad and no variety.Comlementary breakfast is worst.The manager Dipu is very prompt to make arrangements for your car hiring rather than giving good service.

My stay in there for 3 days was really amazing! The Hotel is just at it's best! The service, the rooms, the management everyone were very well behaved! And I have enjoyed my stay in there and also I would recommend every person who is going for any kind of trip whether business or family should definitely need to stay in this excellent and exceptional Hotel. ❤️🙏🏼

I rated it five stars because of the staff behaviour and quick service they provided us, a decent hotel.. rooms are good. Food was also 👌🏼. We were four friends, booked two rooms for two days. Our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay after a tiring touring day. Also, it has a parking garage, which is a must if u are deciding to stay in the middle of the city.

In temperature of -3 degree they couldn't even provide a room heater which works properly. |There was a nonfunctional geyser in the bathroom.|They kept the window of the room open before we enter and the beds were like soaked in the cold water. |But more than these things which was surprising is the behavior of the receptionist/supervisor. First he told that "if I get angry then I will throw you out from this hotel". During the night he switched off the MCB of our room thrice so the heater goes off. Even after telling him didn't try to solve the problem of the geyser. |I booked for 3 nights and paid the advance accordingly, but had to check out very next day because of that person.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms are well maintained and clean with a really large and clean bathroom. The windows open to a view of the Tawang Monastery. Rooms are provided with room heaters and these are very effective. They have wood paneled and non paneled rooms, the wood paneled ones keep warmer. Room service is prompt. They also have (limited) indoor parking available. Location: It is located in the new market which is about two kilometers from the old market by road. The old market can also be reached by foot using a stairway that connects the two areas in about 10 minutes. The Tawang Monastery is at a walkable distance from the hotel. Food: They have an inhouse restaurant which serves a set dinner and also has an ala carte option. The food was pretty good. If you want local fare, do drop by the Mon Valley restaurant in the old market. Staff: Very good service and the manager Mr Thapa helped us with whatever needs we had. He had also arranged for the paper works and the transport to Bumla Pass. Note however that the road may be closed to tourists by the army. We were unable to visit Bumla but had a shortened trip to P Tso lake. That's a long enough review :), do have a wonderful time in beautiful Arunachal!

Hotel location is great. The hotel staffs are good. We stayed there for 3 nights and we received an excellent service from the Hotel staff. The rooms are clean and beautiful. We have used the hotel terrace for the beautiful morning views of Tawang. Overall good experience.
