Hotel Tea County

Love tea county for food experience. I have visited a lot of times and each time I feel like coming back again. So this time we ordered drinks and just one veg tandoori platter for pre lunch. It took some time but it was worth it. The platter had so much food variety for around Rs 500. Worth every bite and money. Must visit. The bill was around 1k as we ordered desserts as well.

Hotel Tea Country, Dibrugarh W.B is one of the finest budget friendly boutique hotel. I stayed there for just a night on my return journey from Arunachal Pradesh Road trip. This hotel is on some Convey Road which is hardly 8 to 10 kms from NH. I just walked in with my wife and children for night halt and was truly amazed with the property all together. My first great and pleasant experience was at Front Desk. Mr. Santu Sonawal was so polite and courteous that I will always remember. The room provided was super excellent with all amenities that one could think of. And there Restaurant and Food was like icing on top. What an elaborate menu they have. Being pure Non Vegetarians and the varities of choices we had, we ended up spending more on Dinner bill than our room tariff 😃😀 Excellent Sizzlers, Non Veg. Platter, amazing ethnic fish preparation, Tandoor etc. I will be sharing the pics as well. And next day morning Buffet was just super amazing. Though we had negotiated room rate without Breakfast Buffet as we had to leave early morning, Mr. Santu and his Manager insisted that we have Breakfast as well in the same deal. They also ensured that the Buffet was laid half an hour early so that we don't get late on our journey ahead. Wide assortment of Morning Breakfast items. Both Indian and Continental. What a delight it was. Being a Chai lover, the Masala Tea in Kullad in the Buffet was something that really won my heart. My experience with Family was truly out of the world and an experience that I will always cherish. Looking at some negative comments and reviews, I would just say that in Service sector , your attitude and behaviour towards the staff matters a lot. If you are courteous and polite your will surely get similar treatment and vice versa. If I ever go towards Dibrugarh, Hotel Tea County would be the only Hotel that I would like to stay at unless they refuse to entertain me 😄 For me it's no less than a 5 Star Hotel experience.

Everything is good about this hotel, except that they allow smoking within the bar itself. Isn't this illegal? There are laws in place to have a designated smoking area. The food is good, the staff are good. But the smoking being allowed within the bar / restaurant deserves a 1 star.

A good place to stay. Staff is very cooperative||Quality of breakfast is awesome. Cleanliness of room is of very good.hotel tea county is well connected with airport and situated in nice locality. Car parking is also available. |Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Amazing venue at prime location in the city. Good access to all places and the neighbouring tea garden. Great service, value for money and great ambience. The hygiene in the premises is well maintained and always smells fresh despite the bustling traffic. The food is amazing, extremely homely and well cooked. The bakery is still under making and offers limited but very tasty options. Takeaways are available.

I had stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the stay has been amongst the best in my recent memory. One of the cleanest and most customer oriented hotels I have ever stayed. Room size, quality of linen, clean bathrooms deserve top ranking. The food served in the restaurant is fabulous cuisine. Buffet breakfast was elaborate and full of variety. Staff attending to us was brilliantly groomed, soft spoken and always with a smile. I would specifically like to mention Ms. Laxmi Thapa as stand out person. Extremely helpful and professional in her work. She would be an asset for any organisation.

We visited this place on 09-03-2025. To start with, the attitude of those at the entrance (in the basement) was unfriendly. Particularly, a person standing in the basement cast a look as if he was there to check everyone who entered the place. The non-verbal behaviour of the waitresses was very bad. The attitude and behaviour of the customers were not good. Specifically, the manner in which a rude and discourteous customer uttered "Excuse me" worsened my mood. For several reasons, I had already anticipated that my day would go bad, and it's no wonder that later I had to visit this place and had to see these people's faces. To some extent, the fault was ours. Initially, we had planned on having lunch elsewhere, but later we changed our plans and decided to visit this place instead.

Really liked them in december 2017 and thanks to the amazing staff. I feel bad I raised my voice unintentionally with any of the sweet receptionists as didn't mean to when trying to sort something out. I express my apologies and loved them all.
