Horrible Experience - AC Broken, Useless Staff, and Absent GM ​I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. Our entire stay was a nightmare. The air conditioning in our room was completely non-functional. The room was stuffy and unbearably hot, making it impossible to sleep. ​The worst part wasn't even the broken AC; it was the staff's complete indifference. We called the front desk immediately. They said they would send someone, but hours passed and no one showed up. We called again and again, and each time the staff was rude, made excuses, or just flat-out ignored our request. They offered no solutions—no repair, no fan, no offer to change rooms. They simply did not care. ​After getting nowhere, we asked to speak to the General Manager. We were told they were "unavailable." We left messages and explained the situation, but the GM never bothered to respond. It's clear the poor service comes from the top down. ​This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. A simple problem was turned into a miserable stay by a staff that wouldn't help and a manager who was hiding. Avoid this place at all costs. Gautam surana

I stayed at this place for 6 days first day I was given room no 510 on entering the room I realized that the AC vent is making terrible noise inspired of me prompting this to the person who came with my luggage I was told that it will be normal in 10 mins but I had to get ready and go out for meetings. I returned and realised the sound becomes more terrible after sometime. So I requested for room change which was offered next day without fail which was a good effort. Later I was alloted 404 there is a banquet hall on the floor below the room so there was loud music till 1.00 am and after that the dragging sound of tables and chairs. I called and informed to stop the dragging, then also went down and requested but the sound of dragging became more terrible and was there till 2.40 am also hammering sound was there. Overall the experience was worst not recommended. The room also has too much of sound of vehicles from the flyover next to it.

The staff is courteous and helpful. However, the rooms while clean are not very well maintained. There was seepage from a spot on my ceiling, and the AC was far too noisy. The rooftop restaurant is a great place to spend time

The Kalita Cafe is so good .. Everything is good except in the lobby they don't have any AC neither a Fan also to sit comfortably. It's so Hot in Guwahati. AC is a mandatory requirement for a city like Guwahati.

The hotel is good & also the services here are good enough. If someone is booking online for breakfast & dinner/lunch please keep in mind that there is no buffet for dinner/lunch. I booked an executive room with breakfast & dinner for 25/07/25.

I am enjoying a lot. Hotel staff is very good. They did behave a very politely. Mr soman is very good man as per his conversation. Finally I will recommend to other people please at least one time saty there. If visit the guwahati. Thanks to all hotel shoolin staff.

The rooms are aesthetic. The staffs are polite but the location is worse. Its right at the centre of flooded Gauhati. Only the Ark of Noah can help you out of there when u need to leave the hotel. Not ola not uber and surely not your own vehicle
