ASHOKA PALACE HOTEL

I had a incident here where I accidentally locked myself out. I called the Manager Mr Aditya who was more than eager to sort my problem. And finally with no extra key they had to finally break the lock and I noticed everyone still wear a smiling face, this really embarrass me a lot more And that was just not all, for the same night they upgraded my stay too...thank you Mr Aditya..I am really happy with the service of this hotel and all the staff. I highly recommend this hotel for other travellers wishing to visit bodhgaya as it is conveniently located and very safe for families too with an ample parking space...And those attending karma kagyu monlam, the hotel is just about 100mtrs from the Tergar monastery. The room was not so comfortably designed. A little bit noisy place around the room. The manager was not so supportive. The location around the hotel is very tidy. The service was below average. I will not recommend this to anyone in my friend list. Instead go for airbnb

The title sums up our experience. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. There is not even one thing I can mention as a positive. I booked this hotel for 1 night along with my parents. As soon as we checked in, we found out there is no elevator. When we reached the room on 3rd floor, there was no phone. So come down if you need to ask for anything. There was no restaurant either in house or nearby. The staff was highly unprofessional and rude. They had a food menu but told that hotel is not taking food orders that day. They had one towel for 3 people and didn't provide extra towels even for extra payment. Room was dirty, AC was not working, the list is endless. Avoid this hotel and Bodh Gaya as well. If you have to visit Bodh Gaya, choose some other hotel or stay in temple or guest house. We vowed not to return to Bodh Gaya, such was the impact of this so-called hotel.

Excellent place for budget accommodation, near to all temples. Hotel staffs are very helpful and can arrange for transportation and other basic requirements.
