OYO Shiv guru guest house

Unbelievably bad. A filthy construction site with mosquitos everywhere and a bat flying around reception. Toilet has a hole instead of a window so endless mosquitos all night and no mosquito net. Shocking staff attitudes. If it’s busy in town they don’t honour online bookings and try to charge 2000 instead of 500. Came a day early and spent the night being eaten alive before having my booking cancelled because they’re full. I’m not the first, see the other reviews. Same hotel as over the road. There’s only one shiv guest house. Worst hotel in my 6 months travelling low budget in India.

Worst hotel ever in my life worst staff behaviour ,worst rooms, dirty beds, dirty windows , don't come here ever worst hygiene, worst experience ,owner and his wife is very cheap people.

The Google PIN is wrong, this is the same hotel as Shiv Guru Guest House. This is a terrible hotel. Staff were very rude, they didn’t recognize the payment I agreed on Agoda and tried to charge 4 times the price. Agoda booking detail said the price is including wifi and breakfast. But there’s no wifi and the way they offered breakfast was banging your door hard at 7 o’clock to wake you up (Shouting “Dosa!) Ridiculous! Room is dirty, window is a hole on the bathroom wall. Hundreds of mosquitoes flying inside the room. Noisy building work in the early morning. Ridiculous place, please don’t stay!

One of the best stays of my life. Though many shortcomings are there in terms of various facilities. But everything else is worth every single penny. Go for it with no second thoughts.

The behaviour of staff was very unpleasant. They didn't provide us room even when the payment was made in advance.

Booked from Oyo app gave advance payment but they had no spare room available when I reached.
