Hotel Sujata, Bodhgaya, Bihar.

Very nice hotel with a great location. The restaurant serves excellent food and super huge portions. We were informed about the portions anyway and the taste of the food is good. The room was clean and the only turn off thing was there was no hot water in my room. Informed and waited half an hour but still never rectified. Imagine taking a shower in ice cold water by 5 am. Apart from that issue, there was nothing else with this hotel. There is a small handicraft shop as well in this hotel which was nice. The internet is good too. Will return and recommend to others. The buffet breakfast is closed so early which makes the guests wonder about the timing. We were informed earlier that the timing was 7am to 10am. But when we arrived at 830am everything closed but were given ALA carte instead. Options are different anyway.

Bit old building but I guess it is better than other hotels. I went with a group tourist and got a good South Indian food sure it is harmless. Rooms must be tidy and better to renovate. All mattresses pillows. Bath towels are to be changed. Staffs are good

Check in - 26/1 and Check out - 29/1|Pros -|1) Awesome location . Maha bodhi temple and other major attractions are within walking distance.|2) Rooms are spacious and well maintained.|3) Rooms have all required amenities like electric kettle, AC, Geyser etc.|4) Manager Mr.Ashwini is a nice person and looks after guests well.|5) Room tariffs are reasonable.|6) Room service is quite good.|Cons -|1) Break fast is slightly confusing. They sometimes have buffet but they mainly suggest Ala-Carte. They set up buffet mainly when big parties are there.|2) The restaurant service people are more inclined serving foreign guests as they get tips.This practice should be stopped and not a good one. The restaurant even forgot to prepare one of my pre ordered item for dinner also.The staff should pay equal attention to Indian guests also. The matter was reported to Mr. Ashwini and he promised to rectify this.|3) Food prices are quite high but the quantity and quality is good.

Rooms were spacious and good. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because we were given a AC room where the AC wasn't working which made the whole stay at this place unpleasant. Not just our room, there are many rooms where the AC wasn't working and even the technician was not able to rectify it. I was not able to sleep even with the fans on as the weather conditions was too dry.

Very poor service. Staff behavior is also not good with customer i will suggest not not to go in this hotel every thing is very bad.

AC did not work, staff said it will cool down after 2 hours, tried to fix it at night, then offered to change room when we had settled in. Looked like they knew about problems and still assigned room.

The best part of the Hotel is Food! It’s one of the best in Bodhgaya. Rest everything is average, the rooms are dated and the price is exorbitant compared to the ambience. The prices are comparable to 5 star hotels, which is not fair to be honest. Although the location is the biggest plus point compared to others. Also to add, staffs are not trained, especially the restaurant staffs. They talk rudely and behave as we are eating free of cost there.
