Hotel Shankar Palace

I booked the room through goibibo website with discount price 542 including tax. When I check in the owner face was rude, due to booked through online website and also I booked economic room without TV but in room tv available. So I asked for tv with charge upto 100 but the cost they said is 300 rupees for 1 day, so I just avoided it. I stayed for 3 days without it ya it's totally boring and also they removed the set top box and taken the remote on first day. The room is good with cheap price. If you looking room in affordable price and this is best place and also near by street foods available. Room boys are really friendly and helpful but they say that they will buy you foods for you, just avoid it and better you go and buy foods on your own. Finally if you want room near railway station just 1km away this is suitable for you. Book the room through online for cheap price.

The hotel is very clean. Twin beds are very comfortable rather than double bed for business trips. Lift AC Geyser as working in very good condition. The quality of furniture and prettt good. Rooms are nt very big though. RAIPUR has a problem of mosquitoes so beware. HOTEL has resturant facilities.

It is a moderate homely hotel to reside. If you are coming to Raipur for business purpose such as purchasing Mobile parts and other fancy items, then this hotel is the best location to reside to cater your purpose. And, looking to its cost and location, this serves best for you. Hotel People are more friendly and cooperative. Although its front office of the Hotel is not impressive but its rooms are specious and all amenities are available. Overall a good hotel for middle class and small business class.

Cleanliness ok ok. Rooms service not upto to the mark. Owner is friendly. U can go with ur family but don't directly go offline go through some online sites so that u will get the rooms a little cheap. U won't get a restaurant built in nor there will be any breakfast available.

Security tends to be very good at Luxury Hotels. Often with cameras and special card access to the rooms and even when using the elevator to your floor. In the room, there will likely be safe as well. Although you don’t always see them there is often security guards on watch

Booked non AC Checked in 5:30pm only 1 mercury light was there in room 👎 Tv not working - after complain worked Fan working👍 Compact room without proper ventilation👎 Cleanliness was there👍 Bathroom need maintenance 👎 check photos uploaded Gyser working but Damaged Hanger, almirah 👍 ☎ not working👎 Only soap 🧼 provided , no sampoo 👎 Towel very old 👎 No network for airtel/Vodafone in room no 208 Best things - surendra attended was good for service 👍

**Food : 2/5 **Room : 3.5/5 (Best only for 2 persons) While Checking in ask for a room with window, just to be sure. Coz other rooms doesn't have good ventilation or light sources. **Surroundings : 2/5 Area isn't clean nearby also It's a muslim area (Not a problem of course, but just info for those who have some, coz every rickshaw wala will tell you this). **OVERALL RATING: 3/5

Nice place good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is also very cooperative and calm. Just one flaw that the food takes a while to be served. But still the quality and the quantity is up to the mark.
