Our experience at Shanel Beach Resort in Baga was, unfortunately, another letdown from Oyo. It appears that Oyo may have lost sight of its foundational values that marked the beginning of the brand. Despite its proximity to the Party Hub at Baga Beach, Goa, the hotel fell short in terms of cleanliness and basic amenities. The rooms were disappointingly unhygienic, with a filthy bathroom and an inoperative flush. The phone lacked a connection, and the non-functional AC and unconnectable WiFi added to the discomfort. Essential bathroom and room amenities were conspicuously absent, and the provision of clean towels required persistent reminders, with only one provided for two persons due to shortages. Surprisingly, there were no drinking water bottles in the room. Our dining experience at the resort's restaurant further compounded the dissatisfaction. The breakfast order took an astonishingly long hour to be completed. The Bread Omelette arrived burned, the Chicken Sandwich was notably lacking in chicken, substituting veggies like cucumber and tomato. The Aloo Paratha was excessively charred. To add to the frustration, the prices were exorbitant. With the lateness of the hour, we had no choice but to stick with the resort's restaurant, or else we would have sought alternatives in the nearby locality. It's imperative for Oyo to refocus on monitoring and meeting basic requirements rather than solely prioritizing profitability. With each dissatisfied customer, the brand inches closer to a potential decline. Monitoring and improving the fundamental aspects are crucial for sustaining the integrity and success of the Oyo brand.

First thing first its Hotel Jaokim!! They have registered same hotel with 3-4 names on oyo. Location is somewhat ok as its walking distance from Baga Beach. Too much stairs. Room has no automatic lock. Staff will ask you to pay money for Water even if per day one water bottle is free.

This is the very good hotel for those who wanted to stay in north Goa and enjoy the night life if GOA. This is very near to the baaga beach and Titos lane. The hotel is very good. Especially Pappu treated us very well . We will visit this Goa again. Thank you for hosting us. Lots of love

Too bad Service... Room doors having full of white fungus, tv not working, phone not working, no hot water.. Rooms didn't cleaned before giving to us, they have not cleaned after 2 days also.... There is no parking and outsiders charging 250 per day.. Please don't prefer this hotel.. Their location in the map also not correct.. lot of struggles in 3 days of stay.. Only good thing is very near to Baga beach..
