Hotel Sarah (Calangute, GOA)

The hotel is very unhygienic, they don’t clean the rooms, plus they give no services & the worst part is the manager who forcefully convince u into doing something as he wants commission fees out of it , the manager is a big fraud & I felt so wrong in this as u should never do this to a customer, he forcefully made us go on a trip, saying that it’s good & he is taking the guarantee for the trip then he charged extra money than the original price for himself & the trip was also a fraud as it was the most bogus trip of my life that also he arranges such groups to send people here & there , he was very desperate to send as for that trip so that he can make some money this is just so wrong as you’re a tourist no matter how careful you’re u gonna end up making a mistake when someone deceives u like that, I felt so wrong as I lost a huge amount of money it got wasted completely even before this he was taking out commission fees out of the cab driver who dropped us, this is like a big scam, doing frauds with customers is wrong.

I am giving review after staying here for 7 nights stay… Let’s start with good thing about this guest house- which is only one, it’s located in prime location, 5 mins walk to Calangute and 20 mins to Baga and you will get everything just below your hotel. Now apart from location and area nothing was good with this hotel. 1. Whole room was full of insects, everywhere in bathroom, in bed, sofa.(attached pic) 2. Untidy room,bed sheet was torn, sofa had opened zipper. 3. Tv never worked for whole 7 days, whenever I tried it has same screen( attached pic) 4. Fridge was off and when I opened to keep our water bottle, our room was filled with dirty smell, we couldn’t use it. 5. They won’t give you room service everyday only after 2 days and won’t change bed sheet. 6. Provided only one towel even we were 2 guests, we asked but they denied. 7. If you are planing to take bath in the morning, you will not get hot water as they use solar power not geyser. 8. We got breakfast pass for 7 days, restaurant was not good very small and very minimum options. 9. There was group of people beside the hotel who sings till 2-3 am very loudly. 10.Although both the staff were good and soft spoken. I hope they will take this a suggestion and improve their service.

My friends and I recently embarked on a budget-friendly trip and decided to stay at a 1-star hotel. While we expected basic amenities and modest accommodations, we were truly disappointed by the overall experience. Firstly, upon entering the room, an unpleasant odor greeted us, leaving a lasting impression that was hard to shake off. The room itself was cramped, barely providing enough space for our luggage, let alone for moving around comfortably. The furnishings were worn out, giving off a tired and neglected vibe. The beds were another issue altogether. They were uncomfortable, with thin mattresses that offered little support. It felt as though we were sleeping on springs, and every movement sent a ripple of discomfort throughout our bodies. Needless to say, a good night's sleep was out of the question. The bathroom was the epitome of disappointment. It was cramped and poorly maintained, with cracked tiles and grime in the corners. The shower barely produced a trickle of water, making it nearly impossible to properly rinse off after a long day of exploring. The lack of hot water was yet another unwelcome surprise. To make matters worse, the noise levels in the hotel were unbearable. Thin walls allowed every sound to penetrate our room, be it conversations in neighboring rooms or the constant hum of the hallway. It was impossible to find any peace or quiet, making our stay even more frustrating. On the rare occasions when we interacted with the staff, their lack of professionalism and indifference were clear. Requests for assistance or information were met with disinterested shrugs and vague replies, leaving us feeling ignored and unimportant as guests. The hotel's location, while advertised as convenient, turned out to be far from desirable. It was situated in a noisy and unsafe neighborhood, making us feel uneasy whenever we ventured out at night. We would have appreciated more accurate information regarding the area to manage our expectations accordingly. In summary, our stay at this 1-star hotel was an incredibly disappointing experience. The lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, inadequate facilities, and unprofessional staff made it difficult to enjoy our trip. We would strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless absolutely necessary, as there are certainly better options available at a similar price

Not good at all. Property/building photo is fake. They create issue for Agoda booking, told us no booking is there even though it was booked in advance N took 1 hour on arrival to get things sorted. Room had lizards N mosquitoes. Room cleaning was done only when we asked for it. Hot water issue in bath room.. They have solar water only so if it rains they dnt provide hot water, simply mention no hot water. On arrival they didn't even give us Bisleri water bottle which is basic N done in all hotels, we asked for it next day. Our booking was with breakfast but they didn't give us coupons unless we asked for it on next day, they simply forgot.(coupons are given for breakfast and have to use it in a small food stall nearby which has no quality food). They tell you to park your car opp. Hotel as they don't have parking space N due to some local fights our car window glass was broken with a beer bottle when we asked them they were unaware about the incident N this caused us a lot of issue on the day of check out. Unless you don't get any rooms in entire goa N have a dire need will not suggest this place.

We didnot stay in the hotel, since 2 weeks before we were told that booking is canceled because the prices that were given to us on Agoda were incorrect. We did our booking well in advance.It seems that because it's peak season they canceled and they would have got a better from other bookings. This is really disappointing since we had to find other accomodation at the last minute.

Don't book this hotel in any app like agoda We had very bad experience.we booked this hotel in AGODA app 1 month before the trip. But after reaching there they told this hotel is under maintenance worl and told us to get out they didn't even informed about this. This property is a pure scam don't get cheated by them They are Fraud

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sarah's. Rooms are neat and clean with all amenities like AC, balcony, Wifi, Fridge, Tv, hot water, power back up etc., Hotel owner Ali has made all arrangements for me and my husband. Very helpful. Thank you.

Nice restaurants for veg lovers. They have plenty of options including Punjabi, South Indian etc. We ordered the Mix Veg and Butter roti and we are highly satisfied with the taste and the quantity. Staff and cleanliness also up to the mark. Recommended for Pure Veg people
