Hotel Grand Liz

This hotel is located just where the busy market road ends and widens up. I got an AC room for a very friendly rate of Rs 750 after little bit of bargaining - considering the high prices in the vicinity. Room was on the 2nd floor. Room cleanliness was ok. The bedsheets were clean. The washroom had a shower, there was a wash basin and a western toilet. TV with cable was provided. Parking a car is a headache in this area due to narrow roads. I parked my car few meters away from the hotel on the opposite side of the main road. There is an eatery below the hotel as well. Recommended. I would like to comment, only after I check out from the hotel. Now that I am no more in the said most disorganized hotel, I can freely describe my bitter experience. during my two times stay in this hotel for a total of nearly 100 days. Though I have paid over Rs. 50,000/-, not a single receipt was issued to me. One has to remind the owner or the so called manager, about changing the bedsheets, towel, etc. and cleaning the room. The last room attendant, Machado, though good at his job, was very rude and even drunk at times. I had to finally leave the hotel, mainly on his account. Illicit business also goes on in this hotel.

I paid for a deluxe room and received a large room which was clean and tidy. The hotel organized tours of North and South Goa which were full day tours in an air conditioned bus. We really enjoyed the tours. One of the staff members, Santan, was very helpful to get us a good deal on a scooter for the time we stayed. Overall good experience for a good price.

I visit this hotel with friends and in Great budget I like to stay here with Friends. 1. Madgaon Local Markets are here just 100 Metre for shopping 2. Bombay Cafe Best & Cheapest near Hotel 50 Metre 3. Near Old railway Station 4. Swad Veg Restaurent near Hotel 5. Connect to North & South Goa||||But Careful in Night, Its Labour area who drunk in night & no Cab or Taxi available after 9 PM, Not Gooood for Family or Official Purpose

A good place to stay, clean spacious rooms. Take out available below hotel and bike rental shop close by. Rooms available at different prices according to your budget.
