Hotel Sharayu One

Large, clean rooms. Staff very helpful - went out of their way to arrange things for us. It's also amazing value for money.|The hotel itself is modern and well-designed with rooms laid out around a large light well.

Had a pleasant repeat stay few days back in July 2025 at Mapusa Goa Hotel Sharayu one. Good breakfast, friendly kitchen staff. Mr. Bhushan Mr. Sanjay & others were courteous and helpful. Housekeeping were good too Will definitely comeback again. Mrs Martin ☺️ Main attraction - the huge poster of the Dog in the dining area ... beautiful ❤️

We booked twin bed room. Which was not available while checkin. Then we tried to adjust with a broken bathroom room, but it “accidentally” locked by the person who was showing us. There was no sign of fixing that. Lot of miscommunication when asked to clean room, it was considered checkout while our stuff was inside the room. Bad service. May be this happens most of the times in rainy season in Goa, don’t know why.

We had a very good stay at Sharayu one, staff was very helpful, Vishal at the reception was very helpful and prompt in service, the room was clean, breakfast was good, the only issue we faced is the air conditioning was not to our satisfaction as it was very hot in Goa and the ac was not really cooling the room aptly..also would recommend having some hand wash in the bathroom, also kindly change the breakfast daily..atleast something new to look forward to. Other than that we would really recommend Sharayu one as a good and safe place to stay.. It's good if you are coming to Mapusa Or nearby places for work etc I would also like to thank Nandita for her very good service..

For the price I paid I would say it’s pretty much high range hotel. The rooms are very neat and clean. My only issue was wifi which I gave them diagnostic as it’s my job. Hopefully it will be fixed. The key card system on the rooms should also be fixed (now they were giving physical key as it’s not working with card + card to activate electricity) Breakfast doesn’t reach the standard of the hotel and really need an upgrade. I would say that it’s generally speaking a good hotel for Indian standard. Don’t expect anything fantastic, it’s just clean as it should always be, and maintained more or less properly.

We traveled as a group of 7 Adults, 5 Children. Booked this property well in advance. Usually, this property is available around 2K-2.5K per night/per room but we booked around 4K per night/per room, provided it was December 26th till 29th, peak season so we thought it is OK since overall reviews are good. Check In was smooth without any hassle, people at reception are polite and humble. Since we check in evening around 4 PM, we asked if we can get lunch and we got positive answer, but it took 1.5 hours for the lunch to arrive and finish in total. The service was super slow in odd hours and I am saying this from experiencing it multiple times. Do not order chapatis, they are super slow. Next morning breakfast experience was good, on time, not many options but good. The real trouble began when we made a mistake and I repeat, yes, we made a mistake and we apologized for it. In one of rooms, one of our family members put clothes for drying on TV cabinet of which just below was the TV. I can confirm the clothes were not wet, just damp, and similar is confirmed by the hotel staff that clothes were not wet while they were doing the house cleaning. The staff just became mad on why we hang our clothes on TV cabinet, do you do the same at your home. We were like dude this is not our home and we are sorry. We accepted our mistake and apologized. On which they said we must pay a penalty fee for property damage. We asked what property damage as the TV was working OK. They said, it might stop working after some days due to dampness of your clothes. It was a facepalm moment for us and we said we are not going to pay any penalty for a damage that may happen OR may not happen in future. And we all went to our rooms. Couple of hours later what happened was the worst surprise of our lifetime. They called police saying that we hit one of their staff, a blatant lie on our face. seriously, we hit he hotel staff, it could not even happen in our wild imagination. We all were shocked and could not realize what happened. We explained everything to police. We all apologized again and again just to get over the situation. The Police were understanding but they asked me to sign a deceleration if TV stopped working in 10 days, I will pay for the repair OR total cost of TV. I signed and check-out 1 day after the incident. Fortunately for me, TV is still working OK. Worst hotel experience ever in Goa. However, trip to GOA was AWESOME for the 6th consecutive time, as always, visiting again in March 2025, no bad people can top me from visiting one of the blessed part of my own country 😊.

This hotel exceeded my expectations by all standards. Fantastic stay, service, and location. If one doesn't want to stay close to the beaches, then this hotel won't disappoint them. Locating the entry was a bit of a challenge and the name only states 'Sharayu One' instead of 'Hotel' Sharayu One. There is a huge parking area behind the hotel and breakfast is excellent. There is no provision for lunch and dinner, but one won't regret it as there are quite a few options nearby. One suggestion - Call up the hotel and make the booking...Else walk-in like we did!
