Hotel Pete's Hideaway

The staff (Stephan and Peter) were taking care of us like family. Be it anytime in the day, they used to serve and help us with our needs. The location is 5 mins from the beautiful Miramar Beach and 10 mins from the Panjim main market area. It was so convinient to get rented bikes from the same place your live. Mr. Shaun, the owner of the hotel is a very helpful and polite person, never met such a hotel owner before!! He offered us help in any matter I needed. With the Marriot infront of the hotel, the place is always clean and well maintained. You are very close to the main road, access to the main market, yet you live in a very calm and secluded hotel.||I would really love to go and live again in the same hotel during my next Goa visit.

stayed at this hotel from 16th to 18th may with a friend of mine. To start with, the place is quiet secluded from the goa main road and is very calm around. Mr. Shaun is very welcoming and the staff too, though small is very home like and co-operative. Bikes are available at resonable rates. The AC in our room was working and room was cozy as well. The drive from the hotel till mandovi river is heaven like in late evenings. Also Miramar beach is nearby, though nothing much is there on the beach. All in all, the stay was worth it, but would be lovely if Shaun Sir open up their own kitchen and provide with food as well along with accomadtion. ||||Was a pleasure staying at this place. Also, dunno if any hotel owner will be as co-operativa as Mr. Shaun. Keep it up Sir.||||Thank u so much.

Decent place expect bed all other accessories look very old including ac. Bathrooms needs to be fixed, they don't clean properly had bad experience on this. The complimentary breakfast they give is below average in taste and quantity is less. Hotel is located at very good place.

My review is a little delayed, but better late than never. I had booked Pete's Hideaway during an event in Goa. The place is actually a house, comfortable - easy to access, and quite economical. Staying in Panjim makes commute to rest of Goa easy. The people here were very nice and helpful. Shaun - the owner - is a gem of a guy, and helps out in every way possible. We felt absolutely at home. Not a luxury place, and absolute value for money.

This hotel is a gem for those seeking to stay in a silent part of Panjim. Located just opposite the Marriot, this hotel is, as it's name suggests, a Hideaway. Located on a silent street just a few metres away from the Panjim-Miramar-Dona Paula road (D.Bandodkar Marg).||||I got in touch with the owner of Pete's Hideaway,Mr. Shaun (If i got the spelling right) on phone and booked my room. At the reception was Mr. Stephen and Mr. Peter, who received me with warmth. The room that was supposed to be given to me hadn't been vacated by it's previous inhabitants, and since I was in a rush to meet an appointment, they allotted me a room temporarily to freshen up. I must appreciate this gesture of theirs. ||||I shifted to my room once I was back from my work. The room, the mattresses, bed linen, towels and bathroom were very clean and tidy. They are cleaned everyday in the morning. A facility to rent a variety of 2 wheelers (Honda Activa to the mighty Bullet) is available, which is very good considering that the local buses stop their services by 8.30 pm in Goa.||||The hotel doesn't provide food. A breakfast is provided though. Bread+butter+big omelette will do till about 12 pm (I'm not at all thin for that matter). There are restaurants a short distance away, but are a bit expensive. And I guess no tourist would be in their rooms during the afternoons. Food, usually, is an expensive affair in Goa, as I discovered. ||||Location wise, this is nestled in a quite and posh neighbourhood, which doesn't reflect in the room tariff. The Miramar beach, Dona Paula beach, and Hawai beach are all located very close by. You wake up to the sounds of a lot of chirping birds on the many trees nearby. An early morning walk along the Miramar beach would offer a good start to the day, and this hotel affords that.||||Overall, I was really satisfied with my experience with Hotel Pete's Hideaway. I would definitely comeback to this place again, and would suggest those looking for a good hotel to stay here. ||||I'd again thank Mr. Shaun, Mr. Stephen, and Mr. Peter for making my stay memorable.

After travelling around India, Panaji was our last stop before coming to Europe. After "testing" many different indian (mostly budget) hotels, Pete's Hotel in Panaji/Miramar was really nice surprice for us. Simple but clean, peaceful, sunny and with lovely, helpful Staff. Everything there was really ok, you can rent a motorbike there (for 50ruppies cheaper than nearest renting spot) but be careful on your european driving license,you should have international one:) No problem to leave luggage in hotel after check out (check out was at 9.00 and we had bus at 19.00) and to get some medical help if needed :) ||[gratefull tourists from Pl+De]

I was the delegate at the International film festival 2022, the event was in Marriot, I was there and there was no place for parking 2 wheeler so i decided to park in front of hotel Pete hideaway, there were some goons outsides the hotel were supposed to be the drivers of the hotel. they were extremely rude and started abusing me for no reason!   They were in white uniforms! worst experience.

Great cosy little place in a nice quiet ambience just opposite Marriot;s hotel. Very reasonable rates and great hospitality especially by the in charge ever smiling and helpful Stephen. Unfortunately I could not meet the owner as I stayed for one night only but next time I will be taking my family to experience this delightful haven.|| Edgar Menezes,Margao,Goa
