Hotel Belo Horizonte

After completing an arduous trek to dudhsagar, we were tired. My cousin and friend checked into youth hostel dormitory. But I couldn't do so, as my wife was accompanying me. Nearest budget hotel I could find was this belo horizonte. Though they were charging 1800+ tax per night. As the tourists were pouring into Goa like deluge during Christmas holiday, I didn't have any choice other than checking into the only available room.... Just in front of the reception and entrance of the hotel. The Room was mediocre, but full of disturbances as every single word uttered in the reception was heard from the bed. Otherwise the locality is quiet and residential. You can walk down to a beach within 3 minutes. Miramar beach, panjim market, river cruise jetty can be reached very easily by catching any bus running towards panjim. It will take hardly 15 mintues to reach those places from the hotel. There are some renowned as well as roadside restaurants in the vicinity, you can try them according to ur pocket and appetite. ||Overall, if you are on tight budget and dont mind to stay in a simple and quaint location, u may choose belo horizonte. The hotel staff, secially the manager is very polite person and he had arranged a taxi at cheapest price possible for dropping us to VSG.

My Honeymoon trip was at this Hotel in the year Dec 1995 witnessed Carnival. In 2006 stayed there along with my daughter. It was a nice experience. It is nearer to Miramar Beach. The Hotel is around in a domestic area. Quite and Calm. It's a budget Hotel. My last visit was in 2012.

This is not a hotel, but a lodge and a pathetic one at that. Very old hotel, with poor infrastructure. Let me list the out the sad features of this lodge:||1. Absolutely no ambience of any sort||2. No clean drinking water, even bottled water not available of any good brand||3. Coffee/tea exorbitantly priced - pathetic taste and standard answer when we ask for tea is no milk.||4. Bathroom is absolutely pathetic, like a public toilet, not cleaned properly. Shower doesn't work properly.||5. Stained bedsheets, towels that stink.||6. If you want to charge your mobile, you have to switch off the TV.||7. Room tariff is exorbitant, definitely not value for money - you are better off staying at ANY other hotel at that tariff.||||Only plus point is that the AC works.||||This lodge is definitely avoidable!!

Be clear its a budget hotel .. rates are decent .. I got suite . Its has one sitting room and one bedroom and a balcony .. spacious AC room .. two single beds were attached . The bathroom has hot water . The view is road facing . The hotel doesnt provide breakfast . Staff is good and no nonsense .. its safe with someone always at reception .. water pressure is good . The rooms need pest control .. but overall its a nice place , with a very good restaurnt and marriott nearby.. overall liked it .

Hotel Belo horizonte is medium range of staying facility. Very moderate rates of rooms for AC n non AC . Hotel very clean and clear. Parking space is available. Very central space to stay....nearer places r Kala Academy, Goa Gymkhana, Meriat hotel, all casino office counters, market, Bus stand, Miramar beach n all standard restaurants in walking distance.

Near Marriott hotel Panjim at prime location & on affordable price for budget travelers. Ho Ho bus can be picked up from Miramar circle which covers all tourist spots betweeb Dona Paula & Old Goa.Evening Sunset at Miramar beach can be enjoyed easily.Walk along river Madovi from Miramar to Santa Monica jetty in evening is enjoyable.For other days Goa tourist bus can be booked from Santa Monica Jetty (get complete information) from Ho Ho bus.

Who reads these reviews anyway? Came to the hotel late and got a room where one of the mattresses was infested with bedbugs. Told reception about it and they were reluctant to change the mattress. Finally they did but they were too lazy to go to the storage room to get new bed sheets, instead they put the previous ones on another mattress that they brought in. What else is there to say?

We had great experience there. We stayed for almost 8 days and service was also awwh Under budget hotel Very near from miramar beach and youth hostel or Marriot Hotel Goa A nice place to stay and affordable
