OYO 14211 Laxmi Palace

Have not stayed yet but had very bad experience with booking. I had booked my stay for 2 N through goibibo and did my payment. I called the hotel following day to confirm my booking and let me know my arrival time. When I called them I was informed that my payment was not accepted and I need to cancel the booking and book again and pay them at property they will not honor the payment made via goibibo it made no sense. I cancelled my booking and I am definitely not going to book again with them . It's high time that oyo looks into this issues seriously.

Receptionist behavior is too much awkward. He don't knw how to treat customer. Room service is so poor. Power cut off issue is so commen in their hotel. I just have arguments with receptionist and he answered me don't come to this hotel next time.go to another hotels.wht redicules behaviour is it.

Customer service is just plain horrible. They've got no respect for their paying customers. Your ID is there is everything because to them everyone is a terrorist. Also if you're an international visitor then don't forget your OCI, if you have one, and passport because they legit won't let you stay without it. The room was nice bit again, customer service was horrible, I had to argue with the guy for 5 minutes just to get a freaking towel. They won't replace your towels as well if you want fresh ones. This guy kept telling me to hurry up and move out as he thought I was checking out when I already told another guy I would be staying another night, and he was really rude as well.

Not Suitable for couples to stay. All staff were teenage boys who look at you like someone came for an immoral relationship. The room boy wanted tips immediately after he showed the room.. When we ordered a tea it took more than 1 hr to come to room. There were power cuts and it took around 15 minutes each time the power goes off to switch on their generator saying that generator is kept on some other building. And the AC was not working when generator was on. And the temperature was 45 degree outside. The room was on the 4th floor and the lift was having a space where only 2 people can barely stand and sometimes people used to get in from other floors when you arealone with your partner at an unknown place. And it was of high discomfort to stand with an extra person who cannot be accommodated in the lift actually. Also the building was in bad condition except for the 4th floor where hotel was situated. It was like a fearful building for someone who has come from a different part of India with spouse. When we were checking out the manager wanted to rate them in the app in front of him. When we hesitated to rate in front of him he was going violent. Never expected this to happen. All the amenities and looks of the hotel were fine. But overall it was a bad experience.

I had a really bad experience with this guest house. I was booking it through OYO app in front of the receptionist as he was quoting more for offline booking. He nodded that we can definitely book it online if it is showing lesser price, and as we were booking, he changed the price on Oyo app at the right moment when our payment was processing. As our payment got processed, the next page reflected a message that Rs.1200 is still pending as price increased while we were booking. We saw that guy, he saw us with a smirk. That was really bad. He shouldn't do anything similar to customers.

Never book this hotel through GoIbibo . Hotelier does not accept prepaid payments . Instead book through OYO or direct in the property . Otherwise rooms are pretty good . Good stay .

Very bad experience, They book with oyo and don't accept the oyo bill amount. The hotel manager will charge you extra 500 per day. I suggest don't go there .

It's a nice hotel with cool friendly staff. Infrastructure is very good. Hospitality is great.
