A perfect place to have proper Gujarati Thali Meals. The atmosphere is so great, where each staff is eager to serve you some dish. They server more than 20 (I forgot to count after 20 there) dishes and all are very very tasty. The staffs are well coordinated and each will handle one or two dishes. We reached little early there, so we got our seating immediately, however while we coming out, we saw people were waiting in queue, so please plan accordingly.

What amazing gujarati thalli they have and inspire of so much crowd for the Thalia, it is very well maintained and does not take very long for your number to come. Good thali, delicious food, and very pocket friendly.

Visited TGT with family friends,staff are standing and gossiping, nobody is ready to take order,finally after 15 minutes one fellow took the order and I requested him to place a water bottle,it was placed after the second request.served food very late . It was a poor show.

The Grand Thakar Restaurant provided a great experience in Gujarati Thali. Overall all the items tasted good. A minor issue I faced was with the subzi. While they offer 4 subzis, all of them, gravy for all of them tasted the same and the only difference was in the vegetables used. Tip: You can get your waiting token number by calling the restaurant. The restaurant gets extremely crowded on weekends for lunch. The restaurant hands out token numbers and you are allotted a table once your token number is called out. However, you can get your token number by calling them so as to avoid wait time after reaching the restaurant. Advisable to call 45 to 60 mins before your arrival time.

I had ordered Gujarati Thali Parcel after there review and good reputation from market but Today I Experienced all the opposite that I Have Heard. Roti photo I had attached and Now A Days People do not give this Roti to Cow Also. And packing quality is also worst and as per there prices the quality and packing is worst. The other restaurants in Rajkot also do not give this kind of quality and packing in Much Lesser price also. So, Shame of You THE GRAND THAKKAR.. I WILL TELL OTHERS ALSO NOT TO BUY FROM HERE.........

It's Good for who is looking for best Gujrati food. They serve 4 type of sabji with Roti/puri, 2 type of sweet, buttermilk, Farhan etc. Serve only Thakar Thal at 310 Rs. In lunch, Approx 15 min. Minimum you have to wait to get table. However after that their service is too fast.

Spicy food. All the vegetables and Dal looked of the same red colour. Messing up of service by staff. Strictly avoidable.
