The Grand Saakar Tiara Hotel

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights when attending a friends wedding. Location is good. Very close to the airport. However, given Baroda is not a very big city, this is not a major advantage. The room were clean and nice, but they never send anyone for cleaning rooms unless you ask them to. The latch in our bathroom was not working and they sent someone to check it. However, he never came back again to repair it. ||||We only had breakfasts in the hotel. The options were limited. One of the days they had toast and the break looked stale.||||There were no amenities in the hotel. Overall, not a good value for money.

recently I have arranged a marriage function in this hotel. Topaz hall is sufficient for 300 guests. The food was so nice and decorated also nicely. Mr. Nikunj and Mr. Bhatt are very co-operative. I have also booked some rooms for my guests , rooms are very neat and clean. Hotel location is easily approachable for local guests and also for them who are coming from out station.

Stayed 3 nights with family. the property is very new so has its teething problems. there are issues with the lift, the bathroom doors and access keys not working etc. Room service is very average. You won't get a buffer breakfast unless they have enough occupancy. Rooms are medium sized, would expect a slightly lower tariff for this city. Not far from the airport and is right next to the ahmedabad e-way. The flip side is that the hotel is right in the middle of party-plots and when there are wedding events around, you might be inconvenienced a bit. On the bright side, it is a perfect place to host your guests for your events in one of the party plots around!

Recently while my trip to various part of Gujarat, I came n stayed at this hotel at Vadodara. Nice comfortable bed would welcome you with basic amenities but yet stylish designed fresh rooms. Reception was efficient n food +,drinks at Tamarind restaurant was a refreshing one. Thank you Grand Sakara. Keep it up.

Went there for food.but apparently they always focus on the functions and care bare to minimum for the restaurant. Though the food is good,but the service is hopeless. Staff also minimum and seems like they have no interest in their restaurant. ||Rooms appear to be cozy, but highly priced. For the same or even cheaper rates one can easily find better hotels with same facilities in the city centre. Would not recommend this place if you have come here for sightseeing. But a very good place for small fathering or any event.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are very cozy. The only problem is that is is a bit away from the city. The hotel is located near the airport and on the approach road to the ahmedabad expressway. ||However the rooms near the road are a bit noisy. ||The food is average and nothing great.

Good and well organised budget hotel with all the facilities of a star hotel. Room was good and all the facilities were good. I was there for a business trip and really enjoyed my stay. recommended for vadodara stay. all the best.

Major Pros:||It looks nice and attractive as new..||Food is ok... Some dishes are nice||Area added advantage as in the vicinity of party plots||||Major Cones:||Ordinary Management||Not so supportive staff||Poor value for money
