Mountain and Moon

Mountain & Moon was my home for more than a month and I can only say good things about it. Hands down the best accommodation (in these price ranges) I've found during months in India. At some point I was lucky to meet the owner, who showed to be a very nice person. Especial mention to Gaurav, main staff member. Always smiling and welcoming, he made everyday a bit better every time I saw him. If you read this: I miss you, mate! Hope to come back next season!

Everything was really good. Very cheap price for what you get, right in the middle of Dharamkot. Water is always hot and it’s in a quiet area. Owner is extremely polite, helped me a lot with my requests and questions and also upgraded my room for a bigger one and with better view. He also let me stay for free until afternoon in different room to work on the day of my checkout. Would stay here again for sure!

I had a great time at this small cozy hotel. The location was perfect. It is located at the middle of Dharamkot, yet it is quiet and there are a lot of nice cafes and restaurants, yoga centers and the meditation center in the walking area. The owner is very kind and helpful.

Location wise, you’re not far from several coffee shops, and restaurants but unfortunately this is about the only positive I can give this place. The room is quite cheap but in return we had people playing loud music at 8 in the morning two rooms down as well as a dirty room (dust and dirt everywhere). The sheets were dirty with stains and dirt on the bed. A bit of a grim place… however, the staff there were friendly and polite. Also, there was readily available hot water which was a plus. If you get the chance of having a clean room, then for the price, it would be well worth it.

The best hotel experience in my 4 weeks of travel through India. The Hosts were very accommodating and helpful and gave me a lot of help in deciding what to visit in the area. Cannot recommend them enough.

Best stay in Dharamkot. Gurav was lovely and so helpful. Anyone looking to stay in dharamkot should stay here. 10/10. Clean and nice rooms with tremendous view. great staff and relaxed vibes ! Thank you Gurav and everyone else 😀

Great location,great host, great hygiene.view from balcony and room is amazing. Calm and peaceful place.food also too good.
