We chose Conifer for our engagement, but it turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience. The management and service were nothing short of pathetic. The manager forced us to use their tied-up decorator, and the decoration was an absolute disaster. It felt like a joke—completely ruining the ambiance and leaving us heartbroken on what was supposed to be our special day. The hotel strictly prohibited us from hiring any external vendor, clearly prioritizing their commission over customer satisfaction. The food and service were equally terrible. Food was served cold, and the staff kept denying requests and running short of everything. The overall experience was nothing but stressful and disappointing. If you’re looking for a venue for a special occasion, I’d strongly advise you to avoid this place.

The hotel is situated just opposite the War memorial. Stayed in this hotel for 2 days. the hotel is under renovation so most of the rooms were vacant. Room size is good. They said one side is stadium view but from window you can see only the lights of the stadium,|The staff is very courteous and supportive. the hotel have a rooftop restaurant. the food was very nice both in breakfast and dinner.|overall a pleasant stay

This hotel has good infrastructure and a nice restaurant at the top with open roof and indoor enjoyment for partys. The food was awesome there price was a bit high for hotel and breakfast but it was worth it. One thing i want to mention is their room locking system. The card they provided didn’t work properly even after changing cards twice. So that caused a lot of problems while you go out of room. I accidentally locked room and card was left inside. That was quite hectic to deal with.

If you are planning to organize an event at this hotel or restaurant, be prepared for disappointment. You won’t get what you expect, and you’ll end up paying more because you have no other options. I had a terrible experience here. The Restaurant Manager (Payari Lal) and Decorator (Sonal) overcharge for doing nothing, and the service is worse than a roadside dhaba or motel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They deceive people to make a profit without providing any real service. It was a shame to hold an event at this hotel.

We felt insulted with this hotel.|Due to 2 poor experiences (on our 26 day tour to date), we asked the tour agent to insist on the bathroom quality being good. He said he had been in touch & they were upgrading us to a "deluxe room".|When we arrived our driver took our bags out of the car but nobody came to help so the driver & me (I'm 67) carried our bags up the stairs to reception|We were then shown our room which was fine but the bathroom was disgusting - the bath itself had the enamel worn off & the base was covered in black specs. They had a roller blind across a window to the bedroom which was awful with mould which was also around the edges of the bath.|Now here's the surprising & we felt insulting bit....we said No & the guy immediately - I mean immediately produced another key card for the next door room.......this was just about acceptable & we probably should have rejected this since there was again significant mould around the shower screen.|Breakfast was a shambles & on check out again nobody helped with the bags.|They MUST have known we would reject the first room otherwise why did he produce the 2nd key card so quickly & in our opinion they were just trying it on.|If I could score less than 1* I would do but I suppose the rooftop view gives that.

Warm service. Food was great. Breathtaking View. Proximity to airport is a big plus. We chose it for our overnight stay as we were flying out early next morning and didn’t want to put our baby through the downhill drive early in the morning. |Restaurant staff Mr Amit was cordial and very helpful. He even manned our baby’s stroller and let us have our meal in peace. Such a blessing!|Some aspects of the hotel, in terms of decor, seem aged and could definitely use an upgrade. But these don’t hamper the guest’s overall experience. The place has a warm and welcoming feeling to it. Would definitely go back on the next visit.

This hotel is located on main road in Dharamshala, very near to War memorial. Staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was tidy and clean. We also had a delicious Lunch. They have roof top restaurant with amazing view. The food's quantity and quality were both excellent. The view from window was great. We relished our stay.

This was a dreadful experience due to the condition of the bathrooms. Our agent had called ahead to check that it would be fine but it wasn't. We said NO & they immediately found us another room (the guy had the 2nd room key in his pocket!) & That room was only just acceptable The service on the front desk is awful - our driver & myself (I'm 67) had to carry our bags up the stairs & this was repeated at check out Breakfast service was a total shambles. We returned to our room at 9pm to find it hadn't even been serviced & yes we can make our own bed but we needed both toilet paper & bottles of water Terrible experience & I don't believe the majority of other reviews on here. It is also interesting to note that the 2 main hotel booking sites do not feature this hotel.
