Green View Hotel and Restaurant

I recently stayed at Hotel Green View in McLeodganj, and it was truly a delightful experience. The hotel is perfectly located, offering breathtaking views of the lush green hills and the serene valley below. Waking up to the sight of the Mountain range and the fresh air was an absolute treat. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The balcony view alone made the stay worthwhile! The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. Specially, Ashok took great care of us. One of the standout features was the in-house restaurant, which served delicious local and Indian cuisine. Every meal felt fresh and lovingly prepared. I also appreciated the easy accessibility to nearby attractions like the Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsu Waterfall, St. George Church, and the vibrant Mcleodganj market. Special Shout out to the owners Mr. Shailendra Sahota and Mr. Aditya Sahota. Both are extremely polite and treat you like family. They made sure we dont face any issues and helped us with the travel plan. Whether you're looking for a relaxing escape or a base to explore the hills, Hotel Green View is a perfect choice. I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families alike. I can’t wait to return on my next trip to Himachal!

The reception staff are very supportive. They carefully listen and solve your issues with your stay. There is around 150 steps to reach to the hotel if you come to the top side of the hotel, because the hotel located on a mountain valley. But if you come through the bottom side road there is only 5 steps from the road.

Very nice guest house! The view from the building is spectacular, the rooms have everything you need, and the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. They helped us with everything and made sure we have a good time. The food is also very good!

It was a fantastic experience. Though the first impression seems to be very different. The food is excellent. Service is prompt and the restaurant overlooking the the road and mountains is so out-of-the-world experience. Very economical and it is worth staying with family as well.

We had recently stayed with green view hotel and restaurant and as our first time travelling to Dharamshala we were very sceptical about which hotel to book but it was one of our best decision staying with them because it made our stay at Dharamshala so much more worth it, from the owner to the people working there everybody was so attentive and catering to all our needs and easy to communicate with and the location was also perfect as it was close to the market. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dharamshala.

We had a very good experience. Had a Happy, Comfortable and Cosy stay. Owner as well as staff is very cordial, always ready to help. Food was also nicely made. Room and washroom are spacious and clean. Location is good, in mid of the market as well at a silent place. Mountain view...a perfect place to rewind. Parking is available..just few stairs to reach hotel. I strongly recommend the property.

Home away from home! Great location near to center of mcleod ganj. Owner was very sweet, let us check-in early after a long bus trip from delhi and provided us with useful advices during the whole stay and treated us a family. Hotel has a beautiful view of the valley from most of the rooms. Clean and spacious rooms, comfy bed, hot water, room cleaning upon request, delicious food with free room service available. Be sure to check the rooftop view too! Thank you Green view, thank you Shailander, for making us feel like home.

Amazing Stay with Exceptional Service I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help whenever needed. The host also made sure everything was taken care of, making me feel right at home. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the view from the hotel was breathtaking—one of the best places to stay if you want to take in the beauty of McLeodganj. The food was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options. They’ve gone above and beyond to provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. What impressed me the most was their availability; no matter the time, they were always there to assist, ensuring I had a smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting McLeodganj!
