Auspicious Him View Hotel

A very nice place to stay in Mcleod Ganj. The location is great, the hotel is very beautiful Tibetan style decorated, rooms are spacious and homely and helpful & friendly staff. The owners are very helpful, welcoming and friendly too! Breakfast was very fresh and delicious and they’ve freshly baked cakes in the cafe and you can also eat dinner in the hotel. In the area has also many great cafes & restaurants and all at walking distance from most places of interest. Highly recommended and when I would have the opportunity to come back I definitely would like to stay there again! 👍

This is one of the best places to be - while at Mcleodganj, due to its excellent location, homely and helpful staff, well appointed rooms and very reasonable prices. Walking distance from most places of interest, yet located in a quiet neighborhood, with magnificent views of the valley as well as snow capped peaks. The host and staff are friendly and helpful and the food is fresh and tasty too! Highly recommended 👍

Very peaceful location at walkable distance from main square. Service was very good and so was the owner and staff. Breakfast served was simple and very tasty. Would highly recommend for families and long duration travellers.

The hospitality at 8 Auspicious Him View was very good. we had an excellent stay here. we stayed for 4 nights, our rooms was very comfortable and well maintained. Everyday morning breakfast is a well curated homely food which the hostess Mrs Sona prepares with much care for the guests. Overall we had a memorable stay in McLeod Ganj at 8 Auspicious Him View hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for families, grp of friends , couples and even for solo travellers.

Good spacious rooms, good Mountain view and very warm hearted host Sonam Ma'am. Had really engaging conversations with her over breakfast plus a lot of Guidance on traveling around the District. The caretakers, however, need training to Ensure they know and enhance the customer experience. Recommended!!

It is a peaceful place. The rooms are in traditional Tibetan style which gives a different feeling. View from room was also nice. The owner of the hotel is very caring, helping and welcoming person. I loved the serenity of the place. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. All precautions are taken such that outside winds should not leak into the rooms. Bathrooms are well maintained and hot water is a plus point.

- The room was excellent—very clean and spacious. - The host was very accommodating and always available on call. - The location is convenient. - Complimentary driver meals are provided. - They offer the option to bring in outside food if you prefer something not on their menu. - Hot water is available. Things to keep in mind: - The washroom does not have a jet spray. - It's advisable to call ahead when you're about to arrive so that they can arrange for someone to meet you on the road. The location is quite steep with no place to stop, so this person will assist you in parking your vehicle. - The washroom curtains face directly towards the lobby. If they are even slightly open, everything inside will be visible from outside. - While the owner is excellent, some of the staff (two boys from Bihar) lack basic etiquette, such as assisting with luggage.
