AH Grand Villa

Hello,|I would like to highlight my review in the following points -|1. Overall stay was fine and we enjoyed McLeod Ganj and stay at the hotel.|2. Positives first - Room No 302 was neat and clean and every thing like bathroom, Geyser, Toilet, kettle, TV and AC etc worked absolutely fine.|3. Bed and mattress was perfect, even the extra bed and mattress was good and was appreciated by my son.|4. Every door and glass sliding door was also perfect, allowing us sound sleep.|5. View of Dharamshala was very good from the room...even great from roof Top.|6. Lastly, all the boys who were attended our room call were very humble and always quick in their services. Though I feel hotel is under staff.|7. Taxi service suggested by hotel was very good. Driver guide Sh. Pawan Choudhary was very good.|Few areas to improve - 1. Could not reach reception via room phone while we could receive calls|2. Food options were limited and average, though menu price are reasonable.|3. Location could be difficult as needed some fitness to reach temple, but was manageable for us.|4. I found hotel overpriced, I did a survey and some very good hotels around main square competitive price.|*OVERALL RATING 4*|Thanks.

I was very happy with my experience at this hotel. It is located a short walk from the Dalai Lama Temple and the main shopping street in McLeod Ganj (~15 minutes). My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Mini-fridge and kettle with tea/coffee makings. A balcony that has the most awesome view, from the high mountain peaks down into the valley where Dharamsala is located. And the most delicious Indian food from their kitchen at a very reasonable price. ||But best of all was the service I received from Jimmy, the member of the staff who speaks English. Jimmy could get anything done. Deliver room service? Check. Bring extra bottles of water or fresh towels? Check. Arrange for tours? Check. He even handled exchanging US dollars to Rupees for me, at the same rate shown on Xe.com! Anything you need. Just ask Jimmy and he always delivers with a smile.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! Nitin, the manager, was extremely helpful and professional. Shiv at the front desk always greeted us with a smile and made check-in smooth and easy. The entire staff was polite and attentive. The food was delicious – every dish was fresh and full of flavor. The location is perfect – peaceful yet close to everything. Rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

I recently stayed at AH GRAND VILLA and had a truly comfortable experience. Here's a breakdown of my visit: Staff: The staff was courteous, professional, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, they made sure all our needs were taken care of quickly and politely. Special thanks to the front desk and housekeeping for their friendly behavior. Food: The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The menu had a good variety of options, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Every meal we tried was flavorful and well presented — highly recommend the local specialties. Rooms: The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and basic amenities like hot water, Wi-Fi, and room service were all in working order. Location: The villa is situated in a convenient and peaceful area. It’s easily accessible and close to key points of interest. Whether you're coming for leisure or a short stay, the location is ideal for both relaxation and travel convenience. Had a great stay at AH GRAND VILLA! Staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Food was tasty with good variety. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Location is peaceful yet well-connected. Perfect place for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

1. The breakfast served was good. Parathas, sandwiches, puri, upma all were tasty. Although, the same breakfast daily was boring. 2. ⁠I requested for a room upgrade in case the upper rooms were vacant but was denied even though most rooms were vacant. 3. ⁠The service was fast. Both the staff were very responsive. Although, even after telling them multiple times to close the gate while leaving, they forgot. That was very irritating. 4. ⁠The toilet seat was broken and the TV had no channels. Very disappointing considering I paid 6000 for a room. Overall: It was a good experience but nothing so special at this price point.

Recently stayed at the hotel in the suite. Had a fab experience. Rooms are clean and equipped with all the essential. The view is breathtaking. The market and sight seeing spots are just a walk away. Would recommend it to everyone. Worth it.

We stayed at AH grand viila at machlodganj and we really had a good stay experience. Food was awesome, rooms were too good as it's a new property, staff was very helpful good care of us. One should definitely consider this for a stay.
