Awesome ambience. Clean and comfortable rooms. Receptionist and staff boy are so friendly and co-operative. They also have scooter for rent.

A very pleasant experience in this hotel. We get access to wonderful scenic beauty from our room window. The location is very appropriate, i.e. right in the middle of main market. Most importantly, parking space is also available in this hotel. 5 stars.

When you look an overall of the room, it seems nice. But the bedsheets are terrible, the mattress completely wasted and dirty, the pillow is a nightmare. Bathroom also dirty. |The blanket old and dirty.|They don’t clean the room while you are staying. |Bathroom also dirty. The sink was leaking.|The only good thing is the location. Near the city center.|

Hotel Shivalik is located in the heart of Mcleodanj just after the market and has excellent view of the valley if you're staying in any room on the 1st floor - this is since all rooms open up to a huge common terrace overseeing the valley and the market place. Perfect place to hang out and have a drink or food while enjoying the scenic beauty. Service is average and so is the food. Best rated 3 star per Indian standards so don't expect any frills - yes it does have warm water and cable TV but when in Mcleodganj TV is the last thing you'd want to be glued to. Cheap to stay in place and value for money.

Worst Hotel...They will cancel your prepaid booking on arrival and will only say "Sorry, We Are Full "..thats it. I booked a room at this hotel by paying full amount in advance and after reaching at 9.30 pm, I felt helpless at that point with my wife and my little daughter. Plz Don't Book this hotel Guys

Very clean rooms. Food is also good. Staff is helpful. Only problem is that they don’t accept payment on card / digital method. They deal in cash only. Please start accepting payment via card too it will help customers. Overall good experience.

I visited this hotel with my family, their service is worst in all aspects i have ever experienced... Mirrors are cracked, Water is not available, no cook in the hotel, Moreover they charge you extra for what they have committed.. Worst thing is they dont even have first-aid service... Dont know how they got the licence to run this hotel.. Terrible Experience.. Must be avoided...
